IDAN Teachers Training College, Purba Medinipur, is a specialized institution dedicated to the nurturing of future teachers. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education degree offered at IDAN Teachers Training College is a two-year full-time course with an approved intake of 100 students. Admission to the B.Ed program is governed by merit/direct admission through marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. The selection process is governed by the policies of the state government of West Bengal and the affiliating university. Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university to be eligible for this program.
D.El.Ed: It is a two-year full-time diploma course with an intake capacity of 100 students. Admission to the D.El.Ed programme is through merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) and/or entrance examination, as per guidelines issued by the state government or UT administration. A candidate who has passed the higher secondary exam is eligible to apply for this program.
