Indira Institute of Management Sciences, Nanded Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Indira Institute of Management Sciences, Nanded (IIMS Nanded) is one of the top institutions in Nanded. The institution provides quality education in management and computer applications. The admission process of the institute is aimed at selecting capable candidates for its postgraduate programs. IIMS Nanded is an AICTE-approved institution, and the institution follows a merit-based admission system. The admission cycle of IIMS Nanded generally coincides with the semester of various Maharashtra State universities. Though the exact dates vary every year, the admission generally takes place during the second half of the year after the declaration of entrance exam results. The score of MAH-MBA/MMS-CET for MBA and of MHT CET for both MBA and MCA gets primary consideration for admission into the institute.

For MBA admissions, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). For MCA, a bachelor's degree with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or graduation level is required.

The entrance exams are a part of the admission process. The MAH-MBA/MMS-CET and MHT CET are state-level exams conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. These tests assess the candidate on various grounds such as quantitative ability, verbal ability, logical reasoning, and data interpretation.

Application Process

Application for IIMS Nanded is based on the following criteria:

1. Entrance Exam: Candidates will appear for either the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET or MHT CET, according to the course opted.

2. Application Form: After the declaration of the entrance exam result, candidates who have cleared the eligibility criteria need to fill up the application form of IIMS Nanded. This form is mostly downloaded from the institute's official website or is collected from the admission office.

3. Submission of Documents: Along with the filled application form, candidates need to submit other documents such as:

• Qualifying Examination Degree certificates along with mark sheets 10th, 12th, and Graduation

4. Merit List : institute forms merit list prepared on the basis of the performance in state entrance test and state established eligibility parameters defined at the admission policy making period.

Degree wise Admission Process

MBA: At IIMS Nanded, there is an intake of 120 seats in the Master of Business Administration program. Most of the MBA admissions are conducted based on MAH-MBA/MMS-CET performance by the candidate. MHT CET scores are also considered for the MBA admission by the institute. Candidates who get above the cut-off in entrance exams are further eligible for further admission procedures. These procedures might include document verification and counseling processes.

MCA: In IIMS Nanded, MCA Master of Computer Applications 60 seats are there. Admission is the same process as MBA at IIMS, as it admits students through the MHT CET score. So, any undergraduate degree holder from that relevant field will be eligible after clearing the entrance exam. In the end, the student has to qualify to get a place in the selected list according to the performance at the entrance examination and their earlier academic records.
