Hi,
Some fear the increased interest in crime scene investigation is flooding the job market with candidates, making it harder to find jobs. Finding a job in forensic science can be hard, but it's not impossible. ... Understand that there is a possibility that you may have to move to get the job you want or need.
One of the pros of forensic science as a career includes getting access to the most advanced equipment, tools and methods. Some also contribute to the field by documenting their research and findings in journal articles or at industry conferences.
It's essential that you gain some laboratory work experience in order to prove you have the necessary skills, such as attention to detail and accuracy, as well as having knowledge of laboratory techniques. Work experience is more likely to be found in a scientific or hospital laboratory than a forensic setting due to the sensitive nature of the work.
Hope this helps
Wish you luck
