The Institute of Management, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (IM-PRSU), is one of the centers for management education in Chhattisgarh, India. It covers an area of 302 acres and is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). IM-PRSU provides three programs in the Management field at different levels of higher education.

The admission process conducted by IM-PRSU is meant for selecting the most qualified and promising candidates for its various management programs. For the MBA program, which is the flagship program from the institute, admission is based on marks obtained in a national-level entrance examination. The institute accepts marks from different reputed entrance tests such as CAT (Common Admission Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), MAT (Management Aptitude Test), and ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions).

For the M.Phil in Management program, admission has been conducted through a University Entrance Examination. It is the same case with the Ph.D. in Management, where candidates are required to clear an Entrance Examination for admission. This entrance examination ensures that only the most capable and motivated students are selected for the advanced research programs.

Application Process

Admission to other programs does not follow the application process for IM-PRSU:

For MBA Program:

1. One should have appeared for any of the national-level qualifying entries like CAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA.
2. All application notifications and related materials can be accessed on the official website of Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University.
3. Fill the online application for the MBA program.
4. Pay the application fee online.
5. Upload all the relevant documents including the score card for the entrance test, certificates of academic achievement, and other required credentials.
6. Send in the application before the deadline.
7. Some shortlisted candidates could be called for further rounds selection like Group Discussion or Personal Interview.
8. Finally, selection is based on the overall performance in the entrance exam as well as in further rounds.

For M.Phil Management Program:

1. Visit the university website for the announcement of the M.Phil entrance examination.
2. Register for the University Entrance Examination.
3. Fill the application form for the M.Phil program.
4. Pay the application fee and submit the form with required documents.
5. Sit for the entrance examination on the date scheduled.
6. Selected candidates may be called for an interview.
7. Final selection follows performance in the entrance examination and the interview process.

For Ph.D Management Program:

1. Keep track of the university website for announcements of Ph.D. admissions.
2. Register for the Ph.D. Entrance Examination.
3. Complete the application form for the Ph.D. program.
4. Submit the application with requisite supporting documents and pay the fee.
5. Present oneself for the entrance examination.
6. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview to discuss their research proposal.
7. Selection shall therefore depend on the candidate's performance in the entrance exam, interview, and feasibility of proposed research.

Degree-wise Admission Process

MBA: Master of Business Administration from IM-PRSU. The program has an approved intake of 60 students. Admission to the MBA program is based on an entrance examination held nationally. CAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA scores are used to determine eligibility. Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university. The selection process may involve consideration of the entrance exam score or academic performance in previous degrees, possibly followed by a personal interview or group discussion.

M.Phil Management: The Master of Philosophy in Management program is limited to 10 students. Admission is based on a University Entrance Examination by Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University. Candidates must have completed a master's degree in management or related fields to be eligible for this program. The entrance exam is designed to trace research aptitude and subject knowledge among applicants.

Ph.D. Management: The program under IM-PRSU is conducted for advanced research in various fields concerning management. Admission into the Ph.D. program is through an Entrance Examination. The number of seats available for the Ph.D. is subject to change every semester as per the research areas and the number of supervisors. Candidates must have completed a master's degree in management or in a relevant discipline and must have met the minimum requirement of marks as per university norms.
