ICV College Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Located in Belonia, South Tripura, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar College (ICV College) is an illustrious college offering a plethora of undergraduate courses. The admission process at ICV College is purely meritocratic and student-friendly, thus being an opportunity for an eligible student to enter his or her opted course. Usually, the process of admission at ICV College for the entire academic session is held between August-September. The college has been granted "A" grade accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), thus confirming the quality of education imparted. As for admission to the college, the candidate must pass his or her 10+2 examination from any recognized board. The programs offered by the college cover three large disciplines: Arts, Commerce, and Science. While there are common eligibility criteria for each stream, some criteria vary according to the subject combinations studied in the qualifying examination.

Application Process

Admission application procedures in Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar College usually include the following:

Students having completed to 10+2 level studies relevant to these subjects in either the Arts or Humanities stream shall become eligible. The admission process will likely involve a merit-based selection with reference to the qualifying examination undertaken by the student.

B.Sc (Hons): The college offers six specializations in the B.Sc (Hons) programs, which are Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Physiology, and Zoology. Students who are eligible will come from the 10+2 level with completed course work in science, namely Physics, Chemistry, along with Mathematics or Biology. Admission is assumed to be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination pertaining to the relevant science subjects.

B.Com: ICV College offers 2 specializations in B.Com, including B.Com (Hons) in Accounting. Applicants are students from the 10+2 level with Commerce background or equivalent subjects. Admission based on marks could be for either Commerce subject alone or total performance in the qualifying examination.

For BA, B.Sc, and B.Com (General): In addition to the honors programs, the organization also provides general degree programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce.
