Candidates applying for admission must have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized university/board. Eligibility extends to all streams, including arts, commerce, and science. General category candidates must have a minimum aggregate score of 40%, while reserved category students must have a minimum aggregate score of 35%.
Candidates must have passed 12th grade with Science (PCB/PCM) and an aggregate of at least 40% marks.
B.Optometry (Lateral Entry-2nd Year): Candidates must have a 10+2 certificate with Science (PCB/PCM) and a Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institute.
Candidates' suitability for the program is assessed through a personal interview. Students are selected based on their academic performance, comprehension and articulation, confidence, grooming and attire, general awareness, and co-curricular activities.
