Best 2 years of my college life

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Campus life quite fun with greenery all around, classrooms with decent seating space and projectors to learn dynamic concepts, library filled with all sorts of books, sports area, mess and cafeteria is where all the ideas strive in for different projects and finally the hostel Life where all your stories would thrive in these 2 years.

    Academics

I've studied PGDM (Marketing and Finance) from 2018-20. Growing opportunity in marketing field attracted me towards this course. Professors were quite interactive and promoted open-door policy so that any student can go into their cabin and discuss any sort of problem whether educational or personal. Syllabus keeps on updating year on year basis e.g. in our batch we were given an opportunity to learn digital marketing right from the basics (Demanding market as well)

    Placements

I found the placements to be quite good as I was the among the first candidate to get a job during interviews. Most of the jobs were related to marketing eg. HUL, Amazon, Asian Paints etc. Then there were placements in finance sector as well like Deloitte, Bandhan Bank, UTI etc. Operation specialisation placement were in HCL, Max etc. There is a placement cell (sort of committee) which takes care of all this processes and mine was quite smooth.

    Value for Money

The overall fee structure for 2 years was around 8.5 lacks but I was fortunate enough to get a 75k scholarship due to my NMAT score. Yes there are scholarship available based on your marks. Yes I'm quite satisfied with the course as I'm happily working in HCL for the past 3 years and taking care of my family quite well.

    Campus Life

There are all sorts of committee (e.g marketing, art, placement, sports, DRC - safety committee, hostel and Library committee, etc.) I was a part of 4 committee and thoroughly enjoyed working in them - organising seminars, talks with sponsors etc. Support staff is quite helpful - more of a friend I would say. Location is quite safe and emergency response is also good as I remember one of my friend had a accident (broken hand) first aid was given on campus and meanwhile the ambulance arrived.

    Others

Best part of Jaipuria was the mentor-mentee group that included 10 students for a single mentor. He/she is more like a hand holding friend who helped us in understanding various industry needs, conducted various mock interview to give us proper feedback and obviously our weekend foodie partner :)

    College Infrastructure

The college infrastucture is well maintained. The campus includes the academic blocks, girls hostel (boys hostel outside the campus), a mess, a playground, a very beautiful library with a view to the garden and 3 cafeterias . The hostel is fully wifi and there is option for both AC and non AC rooms. There is space for parking as well outside the campus.

    Academics

Being a B-school, it offers management courses. The faculties are very experienced and most of them are Ph.d. The college put best efforts to provide practical exposure to the students by giving tasks and assignments which demands going out into the real world and get the necessary things done. There are webinars and guest talks that take place time to time from esteemed people of the corporate world. Soft skills are also brushed up via presentations, debates and pitch etc.

    Placements

It offers a decent placement of an average package of 7.5 lacs. Major brands that come for placement include Deloitte, Parle and HCL. The students are trained accordingly and provides all the necessary help as and when required.

    Value for Money

The fees structure is quite high and due to covid times the value for money might not be wellreceived by the students. But it can totally be recovered by grabbing placements at removed companies as the college doesn't left any stone unturned in making the student industry ready.

    Campus Life

The campus is located at posh area. It's a very calm and decent place to learn and grow. There are CCTV cameras and security guards that ensure safety inside the campus.

    Others

Overall it is a decent B-school to pickup for pursuing management course.

The tools used for teaching and the practical knowledge covering the latest industry trend make studying interesting. The faculty teaching the courses are best in their respective fields with a lot of experience under their belt.

    Placements

The Placement Management Committee builds a detailed plan for preparing the students for placement interviews, helping them throughout the process.

    Value for Money

The amount is on the higher side, but when you consider the chances that you get, the opportunities you have, and the resources that the college provides you, It becomes justifiable. The college gets you the best internships and job opportunities to crack.
