Master of Philosophy in History is a full time one-year postgraduate course offered by Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidate with a Master's Degree (M.A. History / Economics) with not less than 55% of marks or 5.51 in 10.00 Grade point average scale under CBCS. The candidates who have qualified for the Master's Degree prior to 19-09-1991, with not less than 50% of marks, are also eligible to register for M.Phil. the programme at this University. SC /ST candidates are given 5% exemption from the prescribed minimum marks.
