Jamia Tibbiya Deoband, Saharanpur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Jamia Tibbiya Deoband, a premier institute of Unani Medicine, is located in Saharanpur. The college offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in this kind of medicine, and the admissions to Jamia Tibbiya Deoband are based on national-level entrance examinations so that deserving candidates are admitted.

Application Process

The application process for Jamia Tibbiya Deoband, Saharanpur differs from program to program:

For the BUMS program:

1. The candidate must take the NEET examination organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in India.
2. The candidate must qualify in NEET by getting a score above the cut-off declared for that year/category.
3. The candidate must apply to Jamia Tibbiya Deoband on the basis of NEET score.
4. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
5. The final selection will be made by combining the merit of NEET score and interview performance.

For the MD Unani Moalijat program:

1. The candidate must take the AIAPGET examination.
2. The candidate must qualify AIAPGET with the score above the prescribed cut-off marks.
3. The candidate must apply to Jamia Tibbiya Deoband on the basis of AIAPGET score.
4. The selection process will be conducted as per the guidelines of AIAPGET counseling and as per directions from the high court and Supreme Court.

 Degree-wise Admission Process  

For BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery): There are an overall of 60 seats for the BUMS program in Jamia Tibbiya Deoband. Admission in this undergraduate course is based on the merit of candidates through the NEET examination and an interview thereafter. In this process, merit based on NEET scores would be weighed alongside the candidate's performance in the interview conducted afterward. The total duration for the BUMS course, with the one-year compulsory internship, is five and half years.

MD Unani Moalijat: JAMIA TIBBIYA DEOBAND offers only 4 seats in the postgraduate course. It grants admission to AIAPGET-winning candidates. Selection will be finalized based on AIAPGET scores that warrant and direct orders of the High Court and the Supreme Court.
