Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko offers B.A. and B.Sc., the undergraduate and post graduate programmes in both Science and Arts streams affiliated with Gauhati University. J.N. College courses 2024 are BA, BA (Hons), BSc and BSc (Hons) at the undergraduate level whereas J.N. college PG courses are MA, MSc and PGDCA. 

A Choice Based Credit System at J.N. Colleg Boko allows the student to select from various combination courses. Applicants should adhere to the rules and regulations before applying for the J.N. College courses.

Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko was established in 1964.  This college has set a benchmark and became the first college of Assam to receive Star Status from the Department of Biotechnology Government of India. 

The Jawaharlal Nehru College has grown up into a full-fledged well known institution with academic excellence and co-curricular activities, particularly in the literature and social activities, completing its glorious fifty years of existence in the year 2014. 

Jawaharlal Nehru College, Boko also called J.N. College Boko courses are BA, BA (Hons), BSc, BSc (Hons), MA, MSc and PGDCA. Admission into UG and PG programmes is given based on the merit of the last qualifying exam. Jawaharlal Nehru College is a government college and was accredited by the NAAC in the year 2004 and again in 2014 and obtained a Grade ‘B’. 

The placement cell at J.N. College plays a key role in providing placement opportunities to its students. J.N. College also facilitates boys hostels, girls hostels, libraries, sports medical, auditorium, and transport facilities that can be accessed by the students. J.N. College scholarships are provided to eligible students.
