JDT Islam Polytechnic College, Kozhikode Facilities
- Library
The College Library consists of a Central Library with Departmental Libraries and has a growing collection of over 10000 Volumes and 6000 Titles in various branches of Engineering, Technology and Sciences. There are also plenty of books in Social Sciences and Literature. The library functions from 9.00 am to5.00 pm on all working days. The Library is housed in an area of 350 m². Photocopy service is available in a separate room near the Central Library. The Library subscribes to e-books and e-journals annually. The Digital Library facility has e-contents of Faculty publications, conference proceedings, teaching notes, slides, and previous University Question Papers. The Digital Library is equipped with 10 computers. A National Digital Library of India (NDLI Club) has been constituted in JDT POLY and the Club has been formally registered with the National Digital Library of India (NDLI). Photocopy and print services are available in separate rooms near the Central Library.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facilities for the students.
- Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
- Cafeteria
The college canteen provides an experience of multi-cuisine dishes to the students and the staff members at subsidized rates. It is directly run by the management to give paramount importance to the quality of food and hygiene. A canteen committee is formed to monitor and evaluate the service. This committee consists of students and staff members. All the students and staff members are allowed to visit the kitchen to inspect the quality and hygiene.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
- Boys Hostel
The men’s hostel is situated behind the college within the campus amidst a glistening panoramic view. Both hostels provide a comfortable and conducive atmosphere to develop the innate abilities of inmates. Indoor and outdoor facilities for sports and cultural activities (Reading rooms and fitness centers with modern scientific equipment) are available in both hostels. Both hostels are under the control of the Warden, assisted by two assistant wardens
- Girls Hostel
The Women’s hostel is located on the back side of the college in a beautiful location amidst greenish scenery. Both hostels provide a comfortable and conducive atmosphere to develop the innate abilities of inmates. Indoor and outdoor facilities for sports and cultural activities (Reading rooms and fitness centers with modern scientific equipment) are available in both hostels. Both hostels are under the control of the Warden, assisted by two assistant wardens
- Training and Placement Cell
Training and placement cells started functioning at HHM JDT Islam Polytechnic in 1997. It functions with a Training and Placement Officer in charge, departmental faculty coordinators, and student representatives. The placement cell plays a crucial role in locating job opportunities for diploma students. The cell maintains academic-industry interactions. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct recruitment. Pooled campus drives for BTech, diploma, ITI students, and off-campus recruitments are also coordinated by the placement cell. The T&P cell organizes career guidance programs for all students. The cell arranges training programs like resume preparation, grooming, interview preparation, mock interviews, personality development programs, scholarship exams, and aptitude tests to improve the employability of students. Job opportunities and higher studies-related information are collected by training and placement cells and provided to students through class official Whatsapp groups and telegram groups. The facilities available in the institute for campus recruitments are a conference hall with Hi-tech audio-video facilities that can accommodate 250 plus students, interview and meeting rooms to conduct interviews and group discussions, full-fledged computer lab facility to conduct online exams.
- Smart Classrooms
The college is well equipped with exceptional infrastructure, the most modern facilities and equipment needed for sound education such as comfortable smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a library with an abundant book range, e-journals and e-books, a Wi-Fi campus, audio-visual aids, conference hall.

The college also provides club facilities for all the students like ED Club and Bhoomithra Sena.
