The curriculum, focusing exclusively on Analytics, is uniquely designed for young minds who need to acquire the combination of skill sets of Business Management and Information Technology. The specialized programme is meant for those people who are interested to solve business problems in a data-driven manner. Hence, the curriculum covers Information Technology (IT), Statistical Methods as well as all business aspects in detail.
The four-year fully residential BBA (Hons.)- Business Analytics degree programme at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS) is designed to give theoretical and practical knowledge to the students keen to pursue careers that leverage Analytics strengths in a variety of functions and industries. Data Analytics as a domain is transforming the way businesses and organizations work and grow across all industries, including, retail, manufacturing, banking & finance, healthcare, and sports. Data Analytics is helping organizations make better decisions, respond quickly, prevent downtime, mitigate risk, and improve overall performance.
JGBS has tied up with Deakin University of Australia for this BBA (Hons.) Business Analytics programme and hence the students will have the option to pursue their 3rd and 4th-year studies in Deakin after completing the first two years of study in JGBS and to get two degrees from two universities at the time of graduation. Of course, students can complete their degree in JGBS itself, in a total of 4 years.
Criteria: Successful Completion of Class XII examination or equivalent (CBSE, ISC, IB, Cambridge, and other government-recognized school leaving examinations). Students securing more than SAT (1100 Marks) / ACT (27 Points) / UGAT or CUET – 60 Percentile & Above) are exempted from the JSAT (Jindal Scholastic Aptitude Test) entrance exam.
Applicants are selected through a holistic admission process conducted over three rounds based on a personal statement, X and XII Grade Marks, Supplementary Questions, Entrance exam scores, and Personal Interview with a panel of JGBS faculty members.
