JSSATE, Bangalore and CMRIT, Bangalore are both quite similar in their infrastructure. They have huge libraries, laboratories, cafeteria, Wi-Fi enabled campus, gym, etc,.

Both the Colleges accept COMEDK UGET, KCET and the latter also accept JEE Mains. The total Fee Structure in the former Rs. 2.35 lakhs and in the latter is Rs. 20 lakhs.

The placement in CMRIT is good when compared to that of JSSATE. The Median Salary in JSSATE is Rs. 3.20 lakhs/year and in CMRIT is Rs. 3.5 lakhs/year.

Extra-curricular Activities are encouraged equally in both the colleges!

For further study in abroad according to your aim I SE Branch is not preferable for for the researcher  or any other Phd works of research.

RNSIT in in Dr vishnuvardhan road Bangalore is for ISE branch.

J s s a t e Bangalore is in hilly area of Karnataka where CSE branch is taught.

CSE branch of study has a preference for future study of research PhD program in abroad where ISE branch of study student is not taken about.

According to your aim that you have depicted in your question CSE branch of study should be choice of preference.

As you prefer CSE, Cmr Institute of Technology has better placements especially  in IT and CS department.B.E Cse in JSS Academy of Technical Education has lower fees as compared to cmr.Both are private owned institutions.Both have good infrastructure and better facilities such as library, hostel etc.Now I will give you a better outlook on both campuses based on their median package offered-

The fee structure of JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bangalore for students who want to take admission via COMEDK is given as follows :-

JSSATE, Bangalore B.E course fees for the first year for all branches would be Rs. 226080 (All Specializations) for COMEDK students.

From second year onwards the B.E course fees per annum for comedk students are :-

The girl's hostel can accommodate upto total of 220 students.


FOR BOYS :-

Single sharing Attached room  - Rs. 110,000

Triple sharing room - Rs. 50,000

There are 2 blocks built for boys hostel which can accommodate upto a total of 443 students.


Now for mess fees per student you have to pay: Rs. 33,000  per 11 months.

KCET cuttoff for 2018 will be different for different engineering colleges and different engineering programmes as well also differ from category of students. If you want to check the previous year cuttoff you may use the link which is displayed below.

Marks are going to switch year to year depending upon various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level, etc. So I'll talk about the rank. For mechanical the cutoff rank was around 19141 in 2018, for Industrial engineering it was around 39003, cutoff for COMPUTER SCIENCE usually is high in most of the colleges as it was around 7311 in 2018 here too.
