Degree wise Admission Process
B.A.: The college offers several B.A. programs, such as History, Economics and Political Science; History, Economics and Geography; History, Economics and Kannada; and History, Sociology and Geography. Admission to the programs is done based on performance in 10+2 examinations with an emphasis on relevant subjects.
B.Sc.: JSS College for Women offers B.Sc. courses in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science; and Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Eligibility is a pass in 10+2 with science subjects, and admission is strictly on merit in the qualifying examination.
B. Com: The Undergraduate degree in Commerce is offered based on the performance in 10+2 examination. Preference is given to those students who have done a course in commerce stream or allied group at the higher secondary level
BBA: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration by the college considers marks acquired in 10+2 examination. However, its main emphasis has been on the marks scored in the relevant subjects of business studies.
BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications program admits students on the basis of their 10+2 results, with special focus on the mathematics and computer science scores if applicable.
M.Com: The M.Com program has an intake capacity of 50 seats. Admission is mostly based on the candidate's performance in his/her undergraduate degree, preferably in commerce or a related field.
