Jyoti Prakash Mahila B.Ed. College, Palamu. It is a women's college. This college has been recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college offers two teacher education programs: B.Ed and D.El.Ed.

Degree wise Admission Process
Jyoti Prakash Mahila B.Ed. College offers a full-time, two-year B.Ed. with 100 students' strength that has been affiliated. The criterion for B.ED admissions is merit-based and through entrance exams only. Therefore, this process provides overall assessment to the candidates: theoretical knowledge and practical aptitude of the candidates with respect to appropriating admissions to the deserving candidates for a course.
D.El.Ed: The other two-year, full-time course in this college is D.El.Ed or the Diploma in Elementary Education. The college can take in 50 students together for the D.El.Ed course.
