My upsee gen. Rank is 3900 and gen (r) rank is 3160 would I be able to get it branch in knit or biet or any branch in jet???

Hello Prince,

Yes you can get admission in KNIT and BIET institutions but you have to wait till spot counselling round. You can check the previous year cutoff for these colleges by visiting the official UPSEE website. They have provided full list of previous year cutoffs.

i have got general rank 1418 and gl rank 665 can i get seat in any govt colleges for b tech in biotechnology

There are very less government colleges in upsee having biotechnology branch . unfortunately, there is no biotech branch in KNIT Sultanpur. You can get biotech in private colleges like IMS ghaziabad.

Based on your rank there is some less chance to get KNIT SULTANPUR. You have great chance to get a good College. But there are many government Colleges where you can get chance are:
.1 Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur
2. Lucknow University
3. Bundelkhand University Jhansi
4. Rajkiya Engineering College Sohnbhadra
5. Rajkiya Engineering College Kannauj
You may try in BIET JHANSI or in IET LUCKNOW . It also depends on your choice. If you are interested in CSE or IT then you can also get these Colleges (mentioned above). It also depends on the cutoff list. The cutoff list depends on the number of students appeared in the exam and the level of paper. The cutoff list vary from year to year. Do your counselling properly. Give your preference in the first round of counselling. You can easily get government Colleges in first or second on your choice.

No, you cannot get this College based on you rank. To get admission in KNIT SULTANPUR you must have good rank(under2000) . These are the private Colleges where you can get admission.
But you can get Colleges of UPTU:
1. Inderprastha Engineering College Ghaziabad
2. IIMT Engineering College Greater Noida
3. Krishna Engineering College Ghaziabad
4. Rajkiya Engineering College Sohnbhadra( government)
5. ITS Engineering College Greater Noida
6. Sharda University Noida
7. Amity University Noida
These are the private Colleges where you can get admission based on your rank. It also depends on the cutoff list. The cutoff list depends on the number of students appeared in the exam and the level of paper whether it is easy, moderate or difficult. It also depends on your choice. If your choice is CSE/IT then you must have good rank .

Your rank in UPSEE is not that good. Sorry to say that you are not eligible to get either on these IET, BIET and KNIT in CSE

But there are many other colleges accepting rank 2300 for CSE. Some of them are

JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida
Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad
Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology , Greater Noida

Based on your rank you can get admission in government College. But there is some less chance in IET LUCKNOW, BIET JHANSI or KNIT SULTANPUR. It also depends on the cutoff list. The Cutoff list depends on the number of students appeared in the exam and the level of paper whether it is easy , moderate or difficult. So go through the Colleges where you have more chance. You can get admission in these government Colleges:

2. Lucknow University Lucknow
3. Bundelkhand University Jhansi.
4. Rajkiya Engineering College Kannauj.
5. Rajkiya Engineering College Sohnbhadra.
These are the government Colleges where you can get admission easily. You can easily get CSE/IT here. So you can go through these government Colleges. Go through our counselling properly. These Colleges are not so good in terms of placement and academics as compared to IET LUCKNOW....

Hi Ritik,

Sorry to say that the closing range for Kamla Nehru Institure of Technology, Sultanpur for general category(GNOP) is way less(in magnitude) as compared to 13000.

So you should try for admission in other colleges.

I get 91 percentile in jee main can i get cs it mechanical in knit and i am from general category

Hey Hareesh, it is very difficult to get admission in KNIT college with 91 percentile in JEE mains and that too in Computer science or mecMechani branch. The cutoff for this college is very high, sorry to say but with 91 percentile, there is no chance to get admission there.

you gave exam for btech lateral entry.

lateral entry cutoff/closing rank is quite low for IET and KNIT. here are some details for lateral and for obc category:-

IET:- for mechanical engineering :- 11-27
civil engineering :- 16-22
electrical engineering:- 37-40
CSE:- 32-98
ECE:- 152-407
chemical engineering:- 372-408
EIE:- 196-475

it would be better for you to go for IET which is a top engineering college. KNIT has the cutoff nearly to IET.

there will be a difference of +10 or -10 only.

better go for IET.

Should i go for vit as my vit rank is 10000 or KNIT Sultanpur as my tank in upsee is 1553

Vit is the best if you are looking for computer science engineering as your engineering branch bcz the placement in vit is more the big name company are recruiting there but if you are looking for admission in best state government college then knit is best according to your rank hope you understand please upvote it for more details please use our app for college prediction

College Infrastructure

Kamla Nehru Institute of technology has a nice infrastructure and a pretty big campus area of 100 acres. It's hostel and mess facilities are also there with fully wifi facility. It's also has a big play ground.

This is a fully Wi-Fi enabled residential campus. Students can also enjoy the natural beauty here, and we can also see peacocks roaming on the campus. The college provides medical facilities and sports facilities.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is very insane as they built very good and highly maintaining that actually that though should be for one's particular as they managed some times I wonder too that they maintain so hygiene also.
