Dear student,
It seems almost impossible for you to get mechanical engineering in all these three colleges. However you haven't told your domicile. I'll assume that you belong to uttar pradesh. But then even there is almost no chance.
You can predict the colleges that you'll get by clicking on the following link:

Hi.

KNIT Sultanpur seems like a decent college, given no other choice. Since there are no exact placement statistics, so the conclusions can only be drawn based on peer reviews present online. From what I could grasp is:

  • It has a good college infrastructure, there are 8 hostels fully equipped with WiFi however the conditions are not that hygienic but they are in development. Smart Boards are also common in classrooms.
  • Academics is decent given you are in a technical branch such as Computer Science, IT or Electronics and Communications. Teachers are helpful. To quote a student from IT Branch

“ If we see the syllabus then we will find it doesn't go well with job requirements but what our college do is that along with the classic syllabus it gives you additional supplements to your studies which is utterly important for job. ”

  • Placements are not very good at this college. Around 40-50% students get placed. Highest package being 12 LPA and average stands at 7-8LPA. College pays attention to increase the percentage of students placed, though Placement Cell and teacher’s guidance.
  • It is Value For money.

If you have a further specific query please feel free to ask.

You can read more about KNIT at THIS PAGE .

Best of Luck.

Dear Student,

Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology is a state government, autonomous engineering college in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. For Electrical branch the fees for whole course is around 3.37 lakhs. For some last years, the placements for Electrical are average here. The average salary package is around 3-4 LPA whereas the highest package reaches upto 7-8 LPA. Teachers are good here. Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur was established in year 2013. The fees for electrical branch is around 2.2 lakhs for the whole course. Placements for electrical are just average here. Placement percentage is very less here. Average salary package is around 2-3 LPA whereas the highest package is around 6-7 LPA. Faculties are good. From these two, KNIT is good in placements and environment.

Hope this helps.

Hello,
It cannot be determined for sure, because the cut off varies every year and depends on a number of factors. Such as, the seat matrix, number of applicants, reservation, the percentile etc.
However looking at the past years' cut off for kit we can make an estimate. The cut off for 2019 rank wise in the last round for obc was:
  • Computer science - 3930
  • Civil engineering 8950
  • Mechanical engineering 8773
  • Electronics engineering 6481
however, we will have to wait for the round to start.
good luck
however for btech it in KNIT Sultanpur the last year's cut off was at rank 5833, so we can be hopeful

Hello aspirant,

I would guide you to choose KNIT IT branch.

This university provides all the facilities which a student need. Their placements are also good. There will be 100% placements for students mostly CSE and IT branch.

Any how placements and hiring process will be totally dependent on students if you perform well then surely you'll be hired for job. If you want to know more about college here's the details:

Rating of university is 6. 7/10

fee per year is 40000 and for 4 years will be 1,16,000 to 1,20,000

other fee details are as 60,000 for 4 years.

examination fee for 4 years will be 20,000 to 25,000(5,500/year).

so, totally we can calculate that we will have an expenditure of 1,98,000 to 2, 20,000 till the end of course.
