Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College, Puducherry Admission Process

Kasturba Gandhi Nursing College (KGNC) is one of the prestigious constituent nursing colleges established in 2003 in Puducherry, India. The college has a wide range of nursing programs accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The admission process at KGNC selects dedicated and competent applicants wishing to become skilled nursing professionals. Degree wise Admission Process

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This 2-year program has an intake of 40 seats. It is designed for registered nurses who have completed a diploma in nursing. Admission is based on the merit of the candidate's performance in their diploma program and work experience.

M.Sc Nursing: KGNC offers various specializations in M.Sc Nursing, including Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, and Community Health Nursing. Each specialization has an intake of 5 seats. Admission is typically based on B.Sc Nursing scores of the candidate and may include an entrance test and/or interview.

Ph.D. Nursing: The doctoral program in nursing is offered for candidates willing to undertake advanced research in the field. Admission is based on M.Sc Nursing performance of the candidate, along with the research proposal and interview performance conducted by the college.
