KB Women's College, Hazaribagh Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The KB Women's College hostel is situated on the premises of K. B. Women’s College which caters to the needs of students coming from outside Hazaribag. The hostel provides a congenial ambience for academic pursuits. The admission is strictly on a merit basis. We have a generator facility for the hostel. It also subscribes to two daily newspapers. The hostel administrative team includes the Principal and the Hostel In charge.

The KB Women's College laboratories are equipped with all relevant items as required by University conditions. It has four laboratories for the Science Stream and three laboratories for the Arts Stream, and CND has a separate well-equipped hi-tech laboratory facility.

The KB Women's College Library is housed on the first floor in a separate building at the centre of the campus and caters to the educational, informative, and teaching needs of the staff and students. It subscribes to various journals and magazines. It provides reading room facilities and borrowing facilities to the students and members of the staff. The library membership will be valid until the student leaves the college.

The KB Women's College has a well-equipped computer lab with a Pentium machine with the latest configuration. The lab has connectivity with internet access.

The KB Women's College runs a well-maintained canteen on its premises which is open on all working days from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The college canteen offers a varied menu at a subsidized rate. Utmost care is taken to maintain adequate hygiene in and around the canteen.

The KB Women's College Parking is available on the campus to all students, faculty, and staff.

The KB Women's College well-equipped multi-gym provides students with the opportunity to build their stamina to be better able to cope with the rigours of college life, healthily channel their energies and also hone their physique. The facility is been availed by both students and staff members. Sri Arup Kumar Bhattacharjee, Physical Training Instructor trains everyone to keep fit.

The KB Women's College seminar hall of the college is the location for multifarious student activities in the college throughout the year. The co-curricular activities, seminars, lectures, debates, and discussions. NSS and women's development centre activities are organized here.

The KB Women's College CND department of the college provides medical care and first-aid facilities in case of any medical emergency. This facility can be availed by the stduents at affordable prices.

The KB Women's College has sports facilities for all students. Chess, carroms, table tennis, badminton and other sports are conducted on the college premises.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The KB Women's College also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS.

The KB Women's College has a fully functional Career Counselling & Placement Cell which arranges career opportunities awareness programs for the benefit of its students. K.B. Women’s Collegehas setup Go Green Club under the supervision of the NSS Programme Officers to provide environmental consciousness and to develop environmental ethics among the students.
