KMMITS Tirupati Facilities

The KMM Institute Of Technology & Science provides top-grade amenities for its students so that the college experience of the students is enriched in all aspects. KMMITS facilities include a vast collection of literature, for the various courses that it offers, in its library. The library spans over 10,000 sq ft and has over 10,000 books and more than a thousand black volumes, which provides for all kinds of intellectual inquiry of the students. The college campus also features a large set of computer laboratories that are equipped with the latest technology software. There is also a special emphasis on athletic and sports activities for the physical fitness of the students. KMMITS has its own bus transport facility for the students and a well-furnished canteen.

Library
The college Library building spans over an area of 10,000 sq. ft. It has a seating capacity of 100 persons and follows an open access system with State-of-the-art facilities. Library houses a collection of 13,000 Books and 1000 Back Volumes. It subscribes to more than 339 Periodicals ( National & International), 1718 Dissertations, 3200 CDs, DVDs, and Audio–Visual resources. Our Vision is to provide world-class knowledge resources that not only cater to the curricular requirements but also provide Intellectual inquiry and Research. We have a separate library for Maritime Studies at Thalambur having a built-up area of 300 sq. ft and more than 1000 books. College provides everything from traditional paper-based books and journals to e-books and e-journals including podcasts & webcasts. It houses an Image Scanner, Laser Printer, and 50 Computers with an Internet Connection. Each system is connected to Online Printer.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has 7 Computer centers is housed with SEVEN servers and 515 terminals. The facility is completely networked and it possesses I-NET connectivity too. The computer center has the latest systems and configurations supported by licensed software such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Office 2003, Symantec Endpoint protection antivirus v11, Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition, Globareina – ELCS Software, Visual Basic 6, Kaspersky Antivirus Software’s to protect the PCs from harmful trojans and viruses. The college has 5 computer labs.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Transport Facility
The college has a transport facility for students and staff.
Wifi
The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi Technology of 10MBps.
Convenience Store
The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like photocopying facility & stationery etc.)
Parking Facility
The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students. Engineering Physics Lab, Engineering and IT Workshop Lab, Communication lab, Engineering Chemistry Lab, etc.,
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
