Kokrajhar Government College is a glorious co-educational institution situated right in the heart of Assam, whose commencement took place. The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a multitude of disciplines. The admission process at Kokrajhar Government College is pretty much merit-based so that all the bright and deserving students can find opportunities to pursue the fields of their choice. For undergraduate admission, students who have completed their 10 + 2 education from a recognized board are eligible to apply. Admission will be based purely on merit mentioned in the qualifying examination marks. As for postgraduate programs, candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a university recognized.

Application Process

1. Open Announcements for Admissions: Admission-to-college for different programs is publicized through official channels of the institution as well as from the radios and newspapers.

2. Online Application: Candidates are to fill in the online application form on the official site of CMC. Information should be filled in accurately with reference to the 10+2 mark sheet or qualifying exam, with no instance of misinformation occurring.

3. Document Submission: Applicants have to submit the following documents along with their application:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: Bachelor of Arts, Kokrajhar Government College provides Bachelor of Arts studies in a variety of specializations. The college has an approved intake of 805 seats for B.A. courses. Admission to B.A. programs is strictly merit-based based on the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examination. The college has offered honors courses in these subjects: Bodo, English, Political Science, Assamese, Sociology, Economics, History, Education, Geography, Philosophy, Hindi, and Bengali.

B.Sc.: The college has provided facilities for Bachelor of Science programs, having an approved intake of 300 seats. Admission to B.Sc. courses is also on merit basis. The study of honors can be done in subjects like Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Statistics.

M.A.: Kokrajhar Government College offers Master of Arts in English, Bodo, Economics, Assamese, and History. Admission into M.A. courses is merely based on the merit of the candidate in his/her bachelor's degree. Each program has an intake of 20-30 seats in its M.A. program.

M.Sc.: Master of Science programmes are offered in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Admission is also based on merit for the M.Sc. courses, each with an intake of 25 seats for each specialization.

Diploma: A Diploma in Mass Communication is also provided through the institution and will comprise an intake of 40 seats. Like others, the merit base selects applicants for this course.
