KPS Institute of Polytechnic, Hooghly was established in the year 2015 and has grown as one of the vital technical institutions in Dhaniakhali, West Bengal. This affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and offers various diploma courses in engineering disciplines. This institute is situated on a sprawling 10-acre campus. The student enrolment of the institute is 466, while the faculty strength stands at 39. KPS Institute of Polytechnic is committed to providing quality technical education through five diploma courses across various engineering specializations.

The admission to all the courses offered by KPS Institute of Polytechnic is fair and open merit based. The admission process into this institute is via a quota system: 75% of the total seats are allotted through counselings, while the rest, 25%, come from the management quota.
