Candidates appearing in the secondary examination of the WBBSE or its equivalent examination with English, Physical Science/ Science, and Mathematics among other subjects may also apply. However, confirming the benchmark of 35% marks (no rounding up as per AICTE norms) in aggregate excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional is a must.

For Violet - Candidates must have passed or appeared in the (10+2) examination of the WBSCT&VE&SD or have passed 2 years ITI plus madhyamik or equivalent examination. Appeared that ITI candidates are not eligible for admission through Violet.
