The college library is the heart of any institution. It is the soul of any learning Institution. It started its function with a vision to serve the information needs of a vision and it mainly holds books related to engineering and allied subjects. The library's amazingly rich collection contains Abstracts, Directories, Yearbooks, Textbooks, Encyclopaedias, and general books. The library also subscribes to technical journals, general magazines, and library subscribed full-text online databases like IEEE, Science Direct, Springer, etc. Digital libraries with E-journal, E-Books, and CDs/DVDs’ are available in the library. Library and Information Center provides uncompromising information and intellectual requirements to its students and faculty with a user-friendly approach. It offers a fully integrated and dynamic environment for conducting academic study. Multiple copies ensure that resources are easily available in the reference section as well. Besides this, it provides lending of books and journal back volumes, reservation of books, photocopies, and CD/DVDs, and Internal Services. The college has a facility for indoor and outdoor games. Physical education is an integral part of an educational program designed to promote the optimum development of an individual physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and spiritually through total body movement in the performance of properly selected physical activities. The primary aims of physical education have varied, based on the needs of the time and place. Most of the institutions’ goal is to provide students with knowledge, skills, capacities, values, and enthusiasm to maintain a healthy lifestyle into adulthood. Activities included in the program are designed to promote physical fitness, develop motor skills, to instill knowledge and understanding of rules, concepts, and strategies. Students learn to either work as part of a team or as individuals, in a wide variety of competitive activities. The institute has provided various outdoor and indoor sports and games facilities to students engaged in nourishing their physical social and emotional health. It has its own football/cricket ground, volleyball court, and common room with multiple table tennis and carom board.

The college boasts the latest IT center that precisely works on vision best action with adaptability to change. The Computer Lab has a high-speed Pentium 1.3 processor with 2.66 GHz, Windows 8.1-based networking system. IT center is powered with scanners, LCDs, laser printers combo-drives, and a webcam for video conferencing and the latest applicable software-related purposes.

The college cafeteria is spread over a nearly 156 square meter carpet area and serves delicious Bengali lunch food which includes rice, dal, sabzi, fish curry, chicken curry, egg curry, chat, etc. Apart from lunch, some baking items are also available. A cafeteria is a place where students congregate not to eat but exchange their views. The cafeteria has a modern kitchen that yields quality means tending to promote & preserve health. The cafeteria is designed to cater to a hundred students and staff once at a time.

The college has a spacious sophisticated seminar hall with a large sitting capacity. The hall is equipped with ultra-modern digital acoustics and audio-visual aids. In addition, there is a large conference room enabled with smart new aids and audio-visual presentation tools.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. The college has dedicated well-equipped laboratories for each branch of engineering. The labs are designed in such a way that they complement the theoretical knowledge under the strict vigilance of an instructor. All guidance is provided to the students as to how they should use the tools and equipment so that they are well-trained to solve complex problems and do their assignments and projects with ease.

KPS Institute of Polytechnic has developed an independent Corporate Resource Management Centre (CRMC) to train the students keeping in tune with the changing requirements of the industry as per the socio-economic needs. The CRMC aims to bring corporate luminaries to guide the students with valuable insight enabling the students to be industry-appropriate. CRMC focuses on inculcating the right attitude needed by students to remain competitive. It gives them a general awareness of the current trends and career opportunities by organizing various activities like workshops, seminars, industrial visits by the students, industry-specific studies & consultancy projects from time to time. Further interdisciplinary sessions & discussions are held from time to time.
