Krishna Teja Pharmacy College, Tirupati Admission Process

Krishna Teja Pharmacy College, Tirupati, is a highly reputed college imparting pharmacy education. The college has a merit admission policy with major emphasis on entrance exam scores and academic qualification. The college is accredited by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which ensures the standard of pharmacy education.

The Krishna Teja Pharmacy College admission process largely coincides with the academic year, which mostly starts from August-September. For the intake at the undergraduate level, AP EAMCET marks are considered by the college. AP EAMCET exam in Pharmacy and Agriculture will be conducted on May 18-19, 2025, via online mode.

3. H2 Application Process

The application procedure of Krishna Teja Pharmacy College is different based on the program:

1. B.Pharma:

  • Apply and sit for the AP EAMCET test.

  • Shortlisted students after the test can register for Krishna Teja Pharmacy College by undergoing the centralized counseling process conducted by the state government.

2. For M.Pharma courses:

  • Students holding a degree of B.Pharma can register directly with the college.

  • Provide the print-out application filled, with all supporting documents like B.Pharma mark sheets, entrance test score (in case applicable) and other such certificates.

3. In case of Pharm.D and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate:

  • The process is the same for B.Pharma for Pharm.D. regular course.
  • For Pharm.D. Post Baccalaureate, students who hold a B.Pharma degree can apply directly to the college.
  • Fill in all the associated documents, such as previous degree certificates and mark sheets

4. Complete the application within the stipulated date provided by the college.

5. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews or counseling, as per the course and number of seats available.

6. Once selected, complete the admission process by paying necessary fees and submitting original documents for verification.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: The intake strength of B.Pharma course conducted in Krishna Teja Pharmacy College is approved at 100 students per annum. The admissions are provided based on AP EAMCET and merit in the qualifying exam (10+2). The course duration is 4 years.

M.Pharma: The college provides various specializations in M.Pharma, such as Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutics Drug Regulatory Affairs, and Pharmacology. Each of these specializations has an approved annual intake of 15 candidates. Admission to M.Pharma courses is generally merit-based through graduation marks and also may take into account scores in appropriate entrance exams. The duration of the program is 2 years.

Pharm.D: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) is a 6-year doctoral program with an approved annual intake of 30 students. Admission would probably be based on entrance exam scores and the qualifying exam performance.

Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate: It is an approved annual intake of 10 students and is intended for candidates who have already graduated in B.Pharma. The program lasts for 3 years.
