KS Polytechnic, Bangalore Admission Process
KS Polytechnic. It offers various engineering diploma programs across its sprawling campus of 7 acres to accommodate 575 students. The admission process at KS Polytechnic is made easy and accessible to all aspiring candidates to ensure that the most talented students have an opportunity to pursue their technical education goals.
The institute mostly takes admissions on its diploma courses every year with respect to its academic calendar commencing in the months of August or September. Whereas the dates would differ each and every year, the applicants can be advised well in advance usually during the last months of an academic year with regard to a new academic calendar. KS Polytechnic delivers five fulltime diploma courses conducted for three consecutive years.
Eligibility criteria for entry into KS Polytechnic's diploma courses are the successful completion of 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates from Science, Commerce, and Arts streams are eligible to join the institute's diploma courses. But for most of the engineering courses available in the institute, a good knowledge of mathematics and science subjects will be helpful.

Diploma Courses:
KS Polytechnic offers five diploma courses in the varied engineering streams. All of these programs are similar in procedure for admission but vary slightly with the intake capacity:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This course has 60 students admitted to it. It deals with designing, manufacturing, and maintaining mechanical systems.
- Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering: 60 seats: Electronic circuits, communication systems, and signal processing.
- Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering: The number of students being inducted for this course has also increased up to 120 due to high demand from the IT industry. The course curriculum teaches programming, software development, and computer systems.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering: There are 60 seats in this course, dealing with the designing, construction, and maintenance of infrastructures and buildings.
- Diploma in Automobile Engineering: It is a specialized program with 45 seats, which includes the design, manufacture, and maintenance of vehicles.
For all these diploma programs, the process of admission would be direct application to the institute followed by a merit-based selection process.
