Madanbhai Sura Institute of Business Management, Ratnagiri Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Madanbhai Sura Institute of Business Management (MSIBM), Ratnagiri offers a postgraduate degree in business management and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). A very stringent process of admission was designed to admit the most worthy candidates for MMS.

The admission cycle of MSIBM remains in line with the MAH MBA CET admission schedule. To be precise for the academic session 2025-26, Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) application form dates are expected to be open between November 13, 2024 to December 25, 2024. And some of these applicants may also come under the schedule of MAH AAC CET conducted on April 5, 2025,.

Admission into the MMS program at MSIBM is eligible for candidates having a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from an accredited university. The institute allows scores from the following entrance tests- CMAT, CAT, and MAH-CET. The institute is considering accepting other tests conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The institute in the future would also consider including other tests like ATMA.

It has different steps in the screening process. There is a prior eligibility criterion qualifying the candidate on any of the allowed entrance exams. Subsequently, he or she gets into the DTE Maharashtra governed Centralised Admission Process. The CAP is crucial as far as allotment of seat in the institution is concerned.

Application Process

"The admission application procedure to MSIBM's MMS program is as under:

1. Entrance Exam Registration:

• Apply and appear in one of the entrance exams accepted by MSIBM, that is, CMAT, CAT or MH-CET.
• The CMAT application usually opens in mid-November and closes by the last week of December.

2. CAP Registration:

• Register for the CAP once DTE Maharashtra announces the entrance exam result, which then the DTE Maharashtra conducts.
• Fill up the CAP application form by providing proper details of personal as well as academics.
• Upload other documents as called for by DTE Maharashtra

3. Submission of Documents:

• Prepare and keep ready these documents:
• Score card of entrance examination
• Degree certificate and mark sheet of qualifying examination
• Valid ID Proof
• Passport-size photographs
• All other documents requested by DTE Maharashtra or MSIBM

4. Counselling and Seat Allocation:

• Appear in CAP counseling rounds as declared by DTE Maharashtra.
• If a seat is allotted to the candidate in MSIBM, he/she needs to confirm admission by paying the fee and submitting all the required documents.

5. Institute Level Verification

• The candidate should visit MSIBM for document verification and completion of admission formalities as per institute's schedule.

6. Final Admission:

• Complete the admission process by submitting all original documents and paying the remaining fees at MSIBM.

Degree-wise Admission Process

MMS (Master of Management Studies): MSIBM offers an MMS course, which is a two-year full-time course with 60 students every year. This flagship program aims to prepare future business managers with the required management competencies and knowledge to face the competitive business environment of the day.

Admission to the MMS program is as follows:

1. Candidates need to appear for CMAT conducted by AICTE, CAT conducted by IIMs, or MH-CET conducted by DTE Maharashtra.
2. For these candidates, there is a chance to be part of the CAP process conducted by DTE Maharashtra.
3. DTE admits the candidate and gives them seats based on CAP rounds coupled with the performance in the entrance exam, etc.
