Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya, Monirampore, was affiliated with the Calcutta University and is an affiliated college situated at Kolkata in the state of West Bengal. 1. Notice for Admission: With this notice, students are informed about the admission procedure through the website and later through same media channels of the college.

2. Online Application: Candidates will fill up the college online application form hosted on its official website. One should fill in information correctly and upload all essential documents as mentioned in the application instructions.

3. Documentary submission- Applicants would be required to submit the required documents which may include:

• 10+2 marksheet
• 10th standard certificate
• Character certificate from the last attended institution
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Recent passport-size photographs

4. Merit List Generation: The college shall generate the merit list for all courses based on the applications received and the academic performance of the candidates.

5. Counselling and Allotment of Seat: Shortlisted candidates might be called for a counselling session for choosing of specific courses according to merit rank and availability of seats.

Degree wise Admission Process 

BA (Bachelor of Arts): There are 9 specializations under the BA Honours programs offered at Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya. These available specializations include Bengali, English, Hindi, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Education, and Economics. The entry for these cases is strictly cut and dry based on merit following the norms prescribed by the Admission subcommittee. The fee structure for BA courses varies between Rs. 16,351 and Rs. 19,456.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): The college offers 3 specializations in B.Com, Accountancy Honours and Marketing Honours. Like the rest of the B.Com courses, admissions into these will also happen on a merit basis and according to the admission norms of the college. Fee for the B.Com courses will be of Rs. 16,351.

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): 8 specializations are available in B.Sc Honours programs, namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, and Geography. As the course requires, admission to B.Sc programs is again depending on merit following the prescribed norms. The fee for B.Sc courses is Rs. 16,351.

All degree candidates need to have completed their 10+2 education from any recognized body. Subjects needed may include ones under the specialization.
