About MIMER Pune
Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research was established in the year 1995 and one of the prominent medical colleges operating from Talegaon Dabhade area of the district Pune. This is a coeducational campus spread on 43.15 acres of land, with the sacred objective of providing quality medical education and health services. MIMER, Pune, is a medical institute in the State of Maharashtra. The MIMER admission procedure is highly merit-based and through competitive examination, which follows standardised national procedures set up by the appropriate authorities for the nation's medical education. For undergraduate admissions, MIMER accepts students based on their performance in the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-UG). This national-level examination is mandatory for all aspiring medical students across India. The NEET-UG scores are used to determine eligibility and merit for the MBBS programme at MIMER.
MIMER admission to postgraduation is done for the entrance examination of NEET-PG. This is the entrance test for specialised streams for medical graduates after completing their graduation in medicine and surgery. The main eligibility criteria for MIMER admission to an MBBS programme are successful completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.

A very good college as far as infrastructure is concerned.

The campus is really humongous and well equipped with all the necessary facilities. It is very spacious and well maintained. There's a ground for football and cricket, there's a basketball court available near boys hostel for everyone. There's also a recreation room along with gym in the hostel.

Infrastructure is good, microbiology microscopes are very very bad. Most projectors in classrooms don’t work or the computers don’t start, it wastes a lot of time during lectures. The college is kept clean at all times
