The Maitri College of Dentistry and Research Centre (MCDRC), located in Anjora, is one of the reputed dental colleges in Durg, Chhattisgarh. The dental programs' admission procedure laid down by MCDRC ensures that the best among the applicants are selected for the program, thus maintaining a high standard of education and training in the field of dentistry.
The admission session for MCDRC usually runs along the lines of NEET. As for the BDS course, MCDRC has an intake of 100 seats. Among other things, eligibility for BDS admission requires having successfully completed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. Candidates must qualify in the NEET exam, which is the main basis for the selection of candidates for admission to the BDS program.
At MCDRC, the MDS programs offer specializations in many fields of dentistry: Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Oral Pathology, Periodontology, Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Orthodontics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Each MDS program has an intake of 3 to 5 seats which makes for focused and intensive training in specialized areas of dentistry.
Application Process
Maitri College of Dentistry and Research Centre, Anjora- Admission general process is carried out by following these steps:
1. NEET Registration: Candidates are expected to register for the NEET examination in the period given while applying.
2. NEET Exam: Appear for the NEET exam on the scheduled date.
3. Result Declaration: Wait for the declaration of the NEET results.
4. Counselling Registration: Eligible candidates need to register at the state level or all-India counselling process based on their category and preference.

7. Fee Payment: On the allotment of the seat, students are required to pay relevant fees for the admission confirmation.
8. College Reporting: Finally, these students report to MCDRC on the specified date with all original documents for final verification and admission procedure completion.
Degree-Wise Admission Process
BDS: Admissions to the 5-year BDS program at MCDRC are based on the NEET examination scores obtained by the candidate. With a total of 100 seats available, candidates considered suitable for admission must have completed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and finally qualify the NEET entrance examination for BDS.
MDS: There are seven MDS specializations offered at MCDRC: admission on merit through NEET score for MDS candidates must also have BDS degrees from an approved institution. The MDS programs have a seat availability of 3-5 for each specialization, offering a more bordered and intensive training in that field of dentistry. These are the MDS specializations offered:
