Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing, Mohali, is one of the earliest nursing colleges in Punjab to offer a variety of nursing programs. The institution adopts a well-defined systematic admission process for different courses whereby competent candidates for its programs are selected. Generally, admissions are entirely dependent on entrance tests held by relevant authorities depending on the course. For undergraduate programs such as B.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, the entrance test for admission is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot only so that there is a fair chance of selection for nursing aspirants. For selection criteria of GNM and ANM programs, the age criteria is as prescribed by the Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC).
For postgraduate programs, including one of many specialties in M.Sc Nursing, candidates also have to qualify in an entrance test organized by Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot. This system of correctly designing and conduction of examinations will justly aid in the selection of the best manpower for higher nursing education. The institution abides by the admission processes layout by regulatory bodies ie Indian Nursing Council (INC) thereby ensuring quality and normalization in nursing education.
Application Process
The application process for different programs in Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing, Mohali; nonetheless, in general, goes as follows:
a) Entrance Examination: The university examinations for B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, and all M.Sc Nursing programs are held by Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot for the candidates. For GNM and ANM programs, candidates have to follow the application process set by the PNRC guidelines.
b) Application Form: The application form for selected candidates is filled out after the result declaration of the entrance examination. This form is usually available on the college website or may be collected from the admission office.
c) Submission of Documents: The candidates have to submit the required documents along with their application, which usually include:
d) Counselling: Candidates shortlisted will be invited to counseling sessions, where they will choose their preferred program on the basis of their rank and availability of seats.
e) Fee Payment: Selected candidates must deposit the requisite fee to secure admission.
f) Medical Examination: Submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate is one of the requisites in the admission process.
g) Final Admission: After completing all of the above and verifying documents, the candidate will be given final admission to the college.
Degree wise Admission Process
ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery): The admission for the ANM program having an intake of 40 is based on the norms laid down by the Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC) needs. Candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria as per PNRC needs.
GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery): This program is sanctioned for an intake of 60 candidates. Admission is done according to the PNRC norms ensuring that candidates meet the required standards for nursing education.
B.Sc Nursing: The college being with 60 seats for B.Sc Nursing; the entrance test is conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot. Admission is strictly offered based on the merit obtained at the said test.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: The program, for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, requires an intaking of 40 students who shall pass the entrance examination conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot.
M.Sc Nursing: Various specializations in M.Sc Nursing are offered by the college: Mental Health Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Oncological Nursing, Nephrological Nursing, and Neonatal Nursing, with an intake provision of 5 students per specialization. Admission to all M.Sc programs is through an entrance test conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Science, Faridkot.

ANM is one year course if you wants to join you must be clear 10+2 from arts or science.you must be at least 40 to 50% ,minimum age is 17 years and only female students can apply for this Course.
I'm sorry to say that ANM is offered in different state and Application process date is different state but your not mention particular state so it will difficult to say that the correct answer.
