MN Academic Trust, Purba Bardhaman Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

MN Academic Trust, situated in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, is accredited as a college for specialized courses in education, this institute is committed to providing quality education for teacher training courses. The admission process of this Trust under MN Academic is designed to take deserving students in its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) programs. It is a merit-based policy that accounts for the marks from qualifying examinations and/or entrance examinations. The same carries through to MN Academic Trust following the admissions policies promulgated by the State Government of West Bengal along with that of the affiliated university. The date of the commencement of classes usually is aligned with that of the rest of the university, though particular dates may change every year.

Both B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses require the candidates who have to qualify the academic exams for taking admission in those programs. Apart from that, the candidate might have to go through an entrance examination or other modes of selection according to the instructions of the government or affiliated university. Application Process

Application for B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses under MN Academic Trust requires multi-staged procedures:

1. Admission Notification: A notification of admission procedure is made through the institute's official website and other communication outlets.

2. Application Form: Candidates can collect and fill out the application form. Application forms may be available online from the institute's website or in physical form at the campus.

3. Document Submission: Besides submitting the duly filled application form, candidates must submit relevant documents, which normally include:

• Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (Bachelor's degree for B.Ed, 10 + 2 for D.El.Ed).
• Valid ID proof.
• Recent passport-size photographs.
• Any other certificates or documents as specified by the institute.

4. Entrance Examination: If applicable, candidates might have to sit for the entrance examination as per state government or university regulations.

Admissions Process according to Degrees

Eligibility will take place as follows:

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): 100 seats are allocated under the B.Ed program in MN Academic Trust for prospective teachers. Enrolment into this program will be on a merit basis according to marks received in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. Other parameters may be included in the selection process following the state government's and the affiliated university's policies. All candidates wishing to enroll in the B.Ed program must have obtained their bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): In D.El.Ed also, MN Academic Trust is providing 100 seats. Admission into D.El.Ed is on the same consideration as that of B.Ed in that it is merit-based through qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. The institution follows the guidelines of admission into D.El.Ed programs set by the state government. Normally, eligible candidates have completed their higher secondary (10 + 2) through a recognized board.
