Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce is a renowned institute located in the Ganeshkhind area of Pune. The undergraduate and postgraduate courses are there in all art, science, and commerce disciplines. NAAC has accredited 'A' grade to this institution. Meritorious students across all walks of life get admissions here through their merit. The admission cycle for the MCASC begins usually after the declaration of the 12th standard results in May-June, just to start the new academic year of August-September. The college provides admissions to its different programs such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, M.Sc, and M.Com, etc.
While it is mentioned that the minimum eligibility criterion is the successful completion of 10+2 from a recognized board, the eligible subjects differ from one course to another course. For example, in science courses, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in 12th standard. Postgraduate admissions usually require a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from any recognized university. Though the actual percentage varies for each program, the minimum marks for admission usually range from 50-55% in the qualifying examination.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.A.: This college provides the undergraduate B.A. programme, which accommodates 358 seats. The merit is prepared strictly on 12th standard marks in the related subjects. Different specializations under humanities and social sciences are also available to choose from.
B.Sc.: MCASC provides several B.Sc programs, including B.Sc Computer Science (240 seats), B.Sc Biotechnology (75 seats), and B.Sc Blended in Chemistry (45 seats). Eligibility typically includes 12th standard with science subjects. The selection is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications program has 175 seats. Admission is based on 12th standard marks, with preference given to students with mathematics or computer science background.
M.Sc: The college offers different M.Sc courses in Computer Science (60 seats), Organic Chemistry (48 seats), Biotechnology (48 seats), Microbiology (43 seats), and Zoology (24 seats). Admission to the college requires a relevant bachelor's degree. The selection criteria are mostly based on graduation marks.
M.Com: This postgraduate course in Commerce is available. The applicant must have a B.Com or equivalent degree.
MA: MCASC offers MA programs in subjects like Sociology, History (69 seats), Economics (32 seats), and Psychology. Admission is given on graduation marks in the relevant subject or allied fields.
I am studying the bsc blended course which is not available in most of the college is the reason to study here and after being NEP is introduced the college the load of the students are on peak it can be minimised by removing unusual subject and there is nothing which make me job ready
The BCA program offers a broad curriculum focused on practical skills and industry needs. The experienced faculty ensures a strong academic foundation. However, there is a lack of advanced elective options.
Teachers are good there lessons are well structured and they never miss any important point and they give extra notes for exams in students.we are blessed with our teachers they are always supporting towords us.the difficult level in BCA exam is like your concept is clear you will not face any difficulties in exam.industrial visits are arranged for students.i remebered in first year our hole class was taken for field trip.the teachers are help the students for job ready position.

The total seats in the Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce for BCA entrance exam is 176. A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
The cut off is generally higher but if you score good in the entrance exam then you will be able to make it to the college.

As per the Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce official website, there are no entrance examinations mentioned for BA Psychology course. The entrance is based on Merits.
Now if you wish to know the entrance for Psychology course then most of the universities don't take any entrances for the Bachelors courses but Master courses there are entrances and you have to follow the syllabus of BA Psychology syllabus of that university in order to crack the entrance examination.
