Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur


Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks for open category students and 45% marks for backward category students in graduation examination of a recognized university B.Ed. Candidates from all cadres from universities outside Maharashtra will be eligible for admission and will need to secure 50% marks.
  • In CET open category other backward class and special backward category minimum 18 marks out of 50, backward category a minimum 15 marks and candidate from all categories of universities outside Maharashtra minimum 18 marks will be rejected for admission.
  •  A candidate who is in service as a teacher and has completed at least two years of full-time service in regular B.Ed. You can get admission in the course. But the condition of minimum hundred marks will not apply to them. However, category wise CET marks condition will be applicable. Also Hon. of the concerned district. A certificate of being a recognized teacher by the Education Officer will be required.
