Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should have undergone 10+2+3(15) or 11+1+3(15) pattern of study and passed the qualifying examination conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other Recognized Board of Education/Examination and U.G. Degree Examination of the UGC recognized Universities in any of the School subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at The Secondary/Higher Secondary Education level.

Candidates with the following marks in the Bachelor’s Degree are eligible for admission to the course other than Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture subjects for which PG qualification is mandatory.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
