Hi
hope you doing well
While having a score of 92.8763441 percentile in JEE Main and belonging to the General category, you have a reasonable chance of getting admission into NFSC Nagpur (National Fire Service College) for Fire Engineering. NFSC Nagpur accepts JEE Main scores, and admissions are based on the All India Rank (AIR).
The cutoffs for NFSC Nagpur may vary slightly each year based on competition and the number of applicants. Your percentile score places you in a fairly competitive range, so you should have a decent chance of getting into the program.
Since you scored 85% in your 12th boards and have cleared JEE Mains with a good percentile, you meet the basic eligibility requirements for admission to the Fire Engineering program.
It would be beneficial to check the previous years' cutoffs for NFSC to gauge your exact standing and ensure that you participate in the counseling process.

Hi
hope you doing well
you have a reasonable chance of getting a seat at NFSC Nagpur (National Fire Service College, Nagpur) or similar institutions with the score of 89.2 percentile in JEE Main and belonging to the OBC category . However, the likelihood of admission can depend on the specific branch and overall competition in that year.
Check the previous year's opening and closing ranks for the OBC category at NFSC Nagpur. This will give you a better idea of your chances based on past trends.
NFSC Nagpur may have its admission criteria and processes, so stay updated on their official website for any announcements regarding admissions.
Ensure you participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process if applicable, as this is how you can secure a seat.
While you might have a chance of securing a seat at NFSC Nagpur with your percentile and OBC category status, it's essential to keep an eye on official cutoffs and stay prepared for the counselling process.
Good luck!

Dear aspirant,
There are numerous scopes after fire engineering. You can choose government or private sector. Your job will revolve around ensuring fire safety and reducing casualities in times of distress. Companies that are prone to have a lot of fire accidents like fertilizer industry, chemical factories will hire a fire engineer. Under government sectors you have an opportunity of getting hired into defense forces, railways, airport, ONGC, refineries etc.
You have an option of getting about 15 - 20 LPA in government sector and about 20 - 25 LPA in private sector.
Hope this helps.
Hello Shivanshu, Your percentile is 85 in JEE MAINS , so it seems difficult to say that you can get a seat in NFSC Nagpur or not.
However, at this percentile if you qualify the cutoff for the college, you can apply for seat through JOSAA Counselling and the cutoff also depends on category. For categories other than GENERAL, it might be easy to get the seat in the college at this percentile.
