National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai offers postgraduate, Doctoral and Online programmes to the students. National Institute of Epidemiology offers M.Sc Biostatistics and MPH Epidemiology and Health Systems programmes at the PG level to the students. At the Doctoral level, National Institute of Epidemiology, Chennai offers the Ph.D Epidemiology programme to the students. NIE Chennai also offers Online programmes in 5 disciplines to the students. The duration of the Full Time postgraduate level programmes at National Institute of Epidemiology is 2 years and the duration of the Ph.D programme at NIE Chennai is 6 years.

Candidates must have a three years experience in Public Health related activities and must be below 45 years of age. The Departmental candidates from the ICMR institutions will be granted age relaxation of 5 years. SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India rules. | |
