Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) and offered by Osmania University, Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have passed/appeared for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science) /B.Com./ B.E/B.Tech/B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for TS Ed.CET-. Candidates should be required to produce a marks memo and pass a certificate at the time of admission.
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree i.e. B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M and or in the Master's Degree in relevant subject or 5 years integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 55 % marks in B.E/B. Tech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the program
Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 19 years on 1st July of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit.

Admission Details

A Common Entrance Test, designated as the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TSEd.CET) will be conducted by the CONVENER, TS Ed.CET on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSSCHE) for admission into B.Ed.
