NC College of Engineering, Israna Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has separate hostels for outstation boys residing in the sprawling campus of NC Group of Institutions with a capacity of 414 boys. These hostels aim to develop a healthy environment of commitment and discipline among the students. The students are encouraged to develop community life and inculcate the spirit of tolerance, thus taking care of their psychological and emotional problems and shape themselves to be better citizens. It is in this spirit and sense of direction that rules and regulations are framed carefully for an orderly and peaceful living, and to make the students better individuals and leaders of tomorrow.

The college has separate hostels for outstation girls residing in the sprawling campus of NC Group of Institutions ( two hostels for girls – Shanti Sadan I and II) with a capacity of 392 girls. These hostels aim to develop a healthy environment of commitment and discipline among the students. The students are encouraged to develop community life and inculcate the spirit of tolerance, thus taking care of their psychological and emotional problems and shape themselves to be better citizens. It is in this spirit and sense of direction that rules and regulations are framed carefully for an orderly and peaceful living, and to make the students better individuals and leaders of tomorrow.

The college has A medical inspection room that has been provided on the University Campus where minor ailments are attended to by the qualified medical staff. Serious emergency cases are forwarded to Columbia Asia Hospital. Students are free to use the services as and where required. Medical facilities are available for students and staff. Two MBBS doctors regularly visit the college. One pharmacist and an ambulance are also available.

The college has a gymnasium for the faculty and students with all kinds of facilities and the latest machines.

The college has a Fully computerized and centrally air-conditioned library of N.C. College of Engineering Technical Campus is functioning since 1998 with a seating capacity of 225 users at a time. The Central Library of the college is really a place of individual study and research and also maintains an excellent learning environment. It has a treasure trove of more than 55000 volumes of books besides 3000 CDs. The Library subscribes to 78 national and international print research Journals, magazines, newsletters, and 9 dailies. It also provides access to 244 title of current e-journals of Springer, ASME, and ASCE as well as their back volumes meeting in totality the guidelines regarding the provision of e-journals in the library by AICTE. The subscription of such e-journals costs approx Rs. 10 lac per year. The Central Library also stacks 1052 back volumes of periodicals in bound form with 228 titles for reference and record. Each department also has its own Departmental Library to caters to the needs of both faculty members and students in the department itself.

The college has various extra-curricular activities conducted on the campus that provide opportunities to the students to bring forth foster and enhance their varied abilities. It helps to enhance the all-around personality of the students to strongly face the turbulent road of the future. To develop all-around personality of the students, esprit-de-corp, and comradeship, a competitive environment has been created in which every student has the opportunity to show his/her caliber. To achieve the above-said requirements and to inculcate team spirit, a system of overall best student and champion team has been incorporated. The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College has an extremely well-kept self-service cafeteria appropriately named ‘Sip-n-Bite Café’. It caters to the students' taste-bud and is a great place to unwind in between the hectic lecture-lab schedules. The way to the cafeteria is refreshingly beautiful and the atmosphere inside it is heart-warming and relaxing. It has a modern, comfortable, aesthetically planned seating arrangement. The rich and varied fare it offers ranges from quick, crisp anytime-snacks, delicious ice-creams, hot and cold beverages to sumptuous meals. And all this is available at very reasonable, in fact, appetizing rates. The cafeteria also houses a small stationery shop from where students can get the big and small things needed in a scholar’s workaday life.… And this is not all. The place is complete with a TV set which beams various channels enabling the students to get ample entertainment. The cafeteria is a cheerful place to be in at all times. It bustles with irrepressible youngsters and brims over with their infectious vibrant spirit.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has For the added convenience of its students and staff members, the Institute operates bus services from all major cities and suburbs like Delhi, Panipat, Karnal, Rohtak, Safidon, Jind, Sonepat, Gannaur, Samalkha, Gharaunda, Gohana and other nearby areas. NCCE Technical Campus has more than 30 busses in its Transportation fleet. These services operate with almost zero profit-making goals and are available on all working days, examination days, etc at fixed timings. It originates from major locations of all the cities mentioned above and terminates on the campus. The central points are determined by the transport committee constituted by the Governing Body. To avail of this service, the students have to enroll them with the transport officer through the faculty member Bus Incharges.
