NEF Law College, Guwahati offers admission into the programmes in the Department of Law. NEF Law College admission into the 5-year integrated programmes is given based on the NEF Law Entrance Test (NLET) whereas NEF Law College LLB admission is given based on the merit of the qualifying examination. 

LLM admission at NEF Law College is given based on the scores obtained by the students in the entrance exam conducted by Gauhati University. The academic terms shall ordinarily be between July to December and January to June.

NEF Law College UG Admissions 2024:

The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained in person from the college on payment of Rs. 500/- (inclusive of NLET Fee). The Five-year course is a full-time course and no student is permitted to pursue simultaneously any other course.

NEF Law College Admission process: BALLB/BCom LLB/BBA LLB 2024:

• Online applications are accepted by the students who meet the NEF Law College admission requirements. 

• Applicants should appear for the  NEF Law Entrance Test (NLET).

• Applicants should acquire merit in the  NEF Law Entrance Test (NLET). 

• According to the NEF Law College merit, applicants should appear for the NEF Law College counselling session.

• To streamline the selection process, the NEF Law College course fee should be paid by the students to get the NEF Law College seats reserved. 

• NEF Law College admissions are confirmed only after the verification of the documents. 

NEF Law College LLB Admission Process 2024:

• Applications are accepted from the students who fulfil the NEF Law College admission criteria.

NEF Law College PG Admissions 2024:

Application forms should be downloaded, the concerned student will have to pay the prospectus and form fee mentioned at the time of submission of the form in addition to the course fee. A candidate for NEF Law College admission to the LL.M. Course must have an LL.B. / Five Year Integrated degree in Law from a recognized University with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

• Applicants should fulfil the NEF Law College selection criteria as prescribed by the management. 

• Applicants are shortlisted on a merit basis.

• According to the NEF Law College merit list applicants should appear for the entrance exam conducted by the Gauhati university. 

• Based on the merit in the entrance exam, the NEF Law College counselling session should be attended by the shortlisted candidates.

• To get the NEF Law College seats reserved, applicants should pay the NEF Law College course fee.

• To prove the authenticity of their credentials, applicants should get the documents verified to get the NEF Law College admission confirmed.
