Netaji Nagar College, Kolkata Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

College each and every student of the college is entitled to use the college library. Students are issued ‘Library Cards’ from the library itself to use the library. The transfer of library cards is illegal. If a student loses his card or for that matter, if his / her card is stolen, he/she will have to apply for a new card at the cost of Rs 50/-. A student is entitled to keep a book with him/her for a period of 30 days and not more than that.

The college has a playground very close to it. It is used by the institution for all kinds of sports events. Despite the paucity of funds, the college spares no efforts to encourage and promote sports and games, both indoor and outdoor of a large variety; especially athletics, football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and carom. College teams regularly take part in a variety of inter-college competitions and have frequently won prizes. The college has conducted the Annual Inter-District Sports Meet for the South Calcutta Zone, sponsored by the Directorate of Education of the West Bengal Government in the past.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has good networking for the Alumni association.

The college has two laboratories, one for the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication and the other for the Department of Geography.

The college has a very well-equipped canteen. Utmost care is taken by the canteen staff to provide healthy refreshments to its students, teaching and non-teaching staff at an affordable price.

The College is a cycle stand on the college premises. Students can keep their cycles at a minimum cost. This Cycle stand ensures the safety of the cycles which is an important mode of transport for the students of the college.

The College is a Cheap Sore within the campus of the college. Students can buy books and education-related articles from the Cheap Store at a reasonable rate.

The college also encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities like NSS.

The college also provides workshop facilities for all the students.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
