Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Admission to B.Ed., Degree Course
Pass in any U.G. Degree (in 10 + 2+ 3 Stream), with the same main subject in Part III, for which he/she is seeking admission to B.Ed., Course.
Candidates who have taken more than one main subject in Part III (Double or Triple) of the U.G. Degree have to choose only one of the main subjects and apply for the optional only.
Candidates with the following marks in the Bachelor’s Degree are eligible for admission to the program other than Economics, Commerce, and Home Science Subjects for which PG qualification will be mandatory. OC 50%, BC 45%, MBC 43% and SC 40%.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.
