Hostel facilities are available for outstation students at two locations: in the Institute building (that houses the College of Social work) diagonally across from our college building, and in Goregaon, at Prem Ankur in St. Pius campus. The campus hostel has the capacity to accommodate 70 students. Some of the rooms can accommodate two students and some three. There is an allotment of seats across the different sections of the college. Applications are accepted only after admission to the college has been secured. The hostel has a mess that serves subsidized meals and refreshments to hostelites and guests.
The Wi-Fi was updated from MTNL to Hathway in the year 2018 for availing smooth, steady, and fast connectivity in all areas of College premises.
The library is open from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on weekdays and closes an hour earlier on Saturdays. The Library remains closed on Sundays and Holidays. During vacations, the library timings are changed and the changes are notified to the students.
The college has well-equipped laboratories for Junior college, Degree College, and the Post-Graduate program. The laboratories have been recently renovated with good lighting, modern fittings, upgraded equipment, and technology to match the requirements of evolving syllabi and that are conducive to performing practicals at UG/PG, Ph.D. level, and for other research purposes. as well.
The college has a hall on the ground floor with a stage and a large rectangular open area which is used for the conduction of seminars. The hall has a seating capacity of 250 and is fitted with an acoustic system (e.g., sound system, hanging mikes, speakers). Collar mikes, cordless mikes, and standing mikes are also available for use in the hall. There is a portable screen, an LCD projector, and a computer in the hall. Regional and national seminars have been conducted in the hall. Also, the hall has been used for conducting some of the parallel sessions of the international conference organized by the college The hall is excellent for workshops. The use of stackable chairs makes the hall a versatile space, permitting adaptable and multiple types of seating (e.g., floor seating, rows, semicircle). College celebrations of Independence Day, Republic Day, etc. are also held in the hall. Other uses of the college hall include Classes requiring physical mobility exercise, examination hall, college exhibitions and fairs, college cultural events such as Dandiya Raas, college parties, medical camps, and indoor sports.
Canteen services are available at the Institute hostel across the road.
Basic ‘First-Aid’ is available with the College General Office. If required, a doctor can be summoned, depending on the seriousness of the emergency, the concerned person can be taken to Bombay Hospital. A wheelchair is available, and there is also a ramp and two lifts to facilitate the movement. The College also has an Infirmary for catering to the needs of those staff/students who suddenly fall sick on Campus.
Today’s need for acquisition of global information and rapid communication using Information Technology is being met by the Computer Laboratory. (Cyber Cafe) The Computer Centre is well equipped with 37 computers with a Network system (LAN). The center also has facilitated printing, scanning, and writing Compact Discs. Here, the students learn various software as per the syllabus requirement.
At a time when there are is increasing national and global health challenges as well as awareness of the concept of fitness, the college too has extended its support to achieving fitness. A gymnasium is established for students and faculty use. This gym houses both aerobic and anaerobic exercise equipment under the supervision of competent fitness trainers. The added attraction is the very nominal monthly charges of only Rs 600 monthly and an annual charge of Rs.5000. Ex-students can also utilize the facility of the gymnasium.
The Sports Committee regularly organizes indoor games such as Carom, Chess, Badminton, Table Tennis, games, and sports activities. These indoor games are conducted in the college hall ‘Marie Adelaide de Cicé’and the common room.
The Alumni Association is a body of ex-students of the college, which has been in existence since 1980.
The College is a tall building with a small backside garden. The college is extremely clean at all times and has a gym khana, hostel, library, WIFi, aGym .only a canteen is missing, Although you can get food from the opposite college of social science, Nirmala Niketan
Infrastructure of the college is good and basic facilities are available.The classrooms are good and very well equipped with everything required.Projectors are there in the classrooms.Also there are lockers for students.
