Nitte Institute of Communication, Mangalore Admission Process

Nitte Institute of Communication offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in the field of media and communication. NICO Mangluru admission is offered to the BA (Hons.) Media & Communication at the undergraduate level, MA (Media & Communication) at the postgraduate level and PhD programme. To get shortlisted for the Nitte Institute of Communication, candidates need to have merit in the qualifying examination as per eligibility.

Interested applicants can also apply for Nitte Institute of Communication admission in PG Diploma courses, which are one year full-time programmes with two different specialisations: Photography & Filmmmaking and Advertising & Public Relations.

Candidates need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by the Nitte Institute of Communication for the NICO courses to which they are willing to apply. NICO UG admission to the BA (Hons.) programme is offered for 40 seats, whereas for NICO PG admission, 15 seats are available under three different specialisations.

10th standard pass certificate for proof of date of birth
12th standard or equivalent marks card/pass certificate
Degree Certificate (for the PG programmes)
Transfer certificate

Certificate from the board of the institution last studied
Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner
Blood group certificate
Photographs: Recent colour photo with white background, of resolution 300-600 dpi, size 35 mm x 45 mm (Passport size - 5), & size 20 mm x 25 mm (Stamp size - 5)
Aadhaar card copy of the student

Students need to present original and photo-copies of all the valid documents mentioned above at the time of NICO admission. If applicants fail to do so, admission will not be accepted.
