The college provides safe, secure, clean and well-furnished hostels with a hygienic vegetarian and non-vegetarian mess. Students can also order freshly cooked food of their choice on "Paaka-Shale", a food delivery app exclusively for hostelers. Recreation facilities include indoor & outdoor games and television. A resident warden is available to ensure safety and healthcare requirements like doctor-on-call and handling medical emergencies.  The hostellers are provided with a cot, cupboard, study table and chair. The college offers free wi-fi to staff and students. The Labs are open on all days so students can avail of the facilities.

The Institute’s library, while still young, has been steadily expanding over the years, with titles across a wide range of topics to complement the multi-disciplinary emphasis in the curriculum. It houses media-specific books related to research, journalism, media studies, photography, film, advertising, corporate communication, graphic design and digital media; and books on history, political science, sociology, subaltern studies, cultural studies, philosophy, environment, development science and health.

The college cafeteria that provides traditional South Indian food and also students-friendly fast food like pasta, sandwiches, and noodles is available on campus.

The College students are covered under Medicare and can avail free medical/dental aid at K S Hegde Hospital and the A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences.

The College has air-conditioned multi Gymnasium is housed in a 5500 sq. ft building. Students could also avail themselves of the services of professionally trained instructors. The equipment consists of treadmills, elliptical trainers, exercise bikes, rowing machines, and a full-fledged multi-gym.

The campus has a 24000 sq.ft Indoor Sports Complex, which houses a floodlit basketball court, four shuttle badminton courts, a tennis court, a volleyball court and a throwball court. An air-conditioned gymnasium and multi-purpose play
ground with a running track are also available in the campus.

The College has a fleet of buses plies between the city and college. Students can avail themselves of this facility (free of cost) to commute every day.

The college maintains good relations with alumni and has a strong alumni network. Alumni also help their juniors with placements and internships.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

A multi-camera television studio equipped with the latest equipment; an iMac Editing Studio for audio and video editing, graphic designing and web designing; license to Adobe Creative Cloud so students get to work on the latest software in the well-equipped Multimedia Lab are some of the facilities the Institute offers. 

The Institute has also added a new color grading studio to its ever-expanding infrastructure. The Color grading studio houses DaVinci mini and micro panels for exclusive color processing and color grading of photographs and videos. 

The college has a 175-seater air conditioned Auditorium for seminars, guest lectures and culturals.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
