It was great to be at NMAMIT. The college campus its environment and in all very great experience. The branch i studied in was bit tough but in and all it was a great experience. And apart from that itbwas great to be a student at Nitte.
Academics wise really great. But exam pressure gets you sometimes and exams are continuous sometimes. So they really need to work on that part. And thr labs needs to be improved in some areas and practicals need to shown more.
They really dont support you that great in case of that. Even when there is some problem regarding they kind off try to blame it on you. So i personally dont recommend it. And also even when u get in somewhere and something goes wrong they dont come to your aid.
It is value for money except for placements.
It is really great. The college fest, And all everything.
Nothing much.
My college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities that a student would need. The classrooms are spacious and equiped with smart boards, providing a modern learning environment.Laboratories are well maintained with updated equipments, and the library has a diverse collection of books and journals. The food served in the canteen is hygienic with a variety of options.
I recently graduated in BE in EEE because of my interest in digital design and verilog. The quality of teaching is good. The professors focus not only on theoretical knowledge but also practical applications. The curriculum is up to date and includes the latest developments in the field. As per my point of view there must be little more industry exposure to the students to be job ready.
The placement quality at my college is good with top companies visiting. The placement process is smooth supported by training sessions and mock interviews to ensure job readiness. The highest package offered last year was around 52lpa.
It costed around 80k for EEE through CET per year. Yes it was worth it.
The college campus was really beautiful and has a lot of greenery and the overall environment is good. There are a lot of clubs and events held in the college to keep students engaged.
I would say doing 4 years of my academics was good. Teachers were good with knowledge and subject expertise was great. I really enjoyed those 4 years. It's now developing properly and growing. They have even added new courses as well.
Academic professors are well versed with subject. At that time though they were less teachers so some subjects teachers had to take even out of their expertise which kinda ruins the learning. It's just we need to learn things without question.
Placements in electrical department is really good. People are getting placed in companies like juniper networks. Packages are outstanding. Actually with poor academics , the faculty works on giving exceptional skills in terms of practicality after academics. It's in a place called elixir. Anyone have dreams please go for electrical.
Yes there is value for money
The college infrastructure is really very beautiful with greenary everywhere. It has 4 blocks and seperate block for 1st years. It has sports ground as well as Auditorium and many seminar halls as well.
I come from ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS background. My department helds a EXPRO competition every year in which you need to show case your projects and the best one will get the winning certificate and money.
My department which is ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS had 100% placement for 4 consecutive years. The average package oof my College is 50LPA. They conduct lots of placement training which help you get a good placement.
Yes, it's totally valur of money. Electrical and electronics engineering department has its own building of Reasearch and innovation where you build real time projects.
Our college hosts INCREDIA FEST every year, which is of 3-4 days which includes various tech games and art activities and DJ night.
Infrastructure is good and campus is clean. Lectures are too good. Smart boards and available and the wife is available in the college. All the staffs are friendly.
I’m perusing engineering in Electrical and electronics engineering. The teaching from the department Electrical and Electronics engineering is good.
The placements in our college is quite good 25 to 35% students are been placed and the minimum salary offered to the students are 6lpa.
My course is Electrical and Electronics Engineering and I have taken seat from management. And my fees was 1,53,000 per year. I will be not working from my background of which I studied so I can’t say if it’s getting me back my money. But I have got many knowledge
It was fun
Nothing
The infrastructure is good. In this village this college has good infrastructure .Our college have all the facilities like classrooms , laboratories, libraries, sport centre ,gym etc and all these are well maintained.
The academic is fine because as we are VTU batch they rushed the syllabus. The curriculum is good. The quality of teaching is also good. I think the curriculum is updated and it includes all the necessary recent developments in the field.
The placement are good . Compared to other departments our electrical department give their best and the quality of placement is good. This year till date the highest package is 54 lakh per year. It was to the CS branch.
As I got seat through KCET the fees im paying is worth compared to most of the other colleges
The campus is also good when you have friends around you
No
The college overall experience was good and the campus was peaceful and cool And the college infrastructure i would say it has some old nostalgia campus and i felt good at campus with overall good experience
Academic wise we had all basics of cyber security fundamental but still i would prefer they should have trained us for better tools and other ways so practical experience would have been possible ways.
Nitte has very goodp placement for BTech graduate students comparing to mtech personally i felt for cyber security branch there is less companies are visiting and core cyber security companies there is lag.
Average
It was good
Good infrastructure great campus to pursue the engineering various bratch options various stream options are provided here. Now the clg is university previously it was autonomous now its is completely deemed to be university

Yes, our college has the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment to support students' learning and development. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors. The library has a good collection of books, journals, and online resources. The labs are well-maintained with updated equipment, ensuring practical learning experiences. Additionally, the campus has Wi-Fi access, a clean and hygienic cafeteria, and hostel facilities. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged with ample playgrounds and indoor game options. Overall, the college provides a supportive environment for academic and personal growth.
I studied electrical engineering because I am passionate about understanding and working with electrical systems and technologies. The quality of teaching at my college is good, with experienced faculty who are approachable and supportive. They make efforts to clarify concepts and provide practical knowledge alongside theory. The curriculum is fairly comprehensive, covering all the essential subjects in the field. However, it could include more industry-relevant topics and hands-on training to better align with current technological advancements. Overall, the learning experience has been enriching and has prepared me for my career.
The quality of placements at our college has been satisfactory. A decent percentage of students, around 70-80%, were placed in reputed companies. The placement cell is active and provides training sessions to improve students' skills, including aptitude, communication, and technical knowledge. Companies from various sectors like IT, core engineering, and consulting visit the campus, offering roles with competitive packages. While the opportunities are good, there is still room for improvement in bringing more core companies and higher-paying jobs for students.
My course cost approximately ₹1,00,000 per year, including tuition fees and other charges. I feel that the education and facilities provided are worth the money to a great extent. The college offers quality teaching, well-equipped labs, and decent placement opportunities. However, there could be improvements in introducing more industry-relevant training and better infrastructure in certain areas to enhance the value for money. Overall, it has been a good investment for my education and career development.
The college campus is spacious and well-maintained, offering a pleasant environment for learning. The best features include the lush green surroundings, a well-stocked library, modern labs, and a clean cafeteria. The campus also has good sports facilities, with grounds for football, cricket, and volleyball, as well as indoor game options. Students can engage in various activities like technical clubs, cultural events, and workshops that enhance both academic and extracurricular skills. However, the worst feature is the limited parking space and occasional delays in infrastructure maintenance. Despite that, the campus provides a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for students.
The college infrastructure is well-maintained and supports a conducive learning environment. Facilities like modern classrooms, equipped labs, a spacious library, Wi-Fi, sports areas, and clean hostels add to the experience. Accessibility and regular upkeep further enhance its quality.
The college offers a robust academic framework with a well-designed curriculum, experienced faculty, and diverse programs. Focused on holistic learning, it integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application. Regular workshops, seminars, and research opportunities enhance the academic experience.
The college provides excellent placement opportunities with strong industry connections and a dedicated placement cell. Regular training sessions, mock interviews, and aptitude tests prepare students for careers. Many reputed companies participate, offering competitive packages and diverse roles.
The college offers quality education, good facilities, and placements, ensuring great value for money.
The campus life is vibrant and engaging, offering a mix of academics and extracurricular activities. Students enjoy cultural fests, sports events, and club activities, fostering creativity and teamwork. With a diverse community, supportive environment, and modern amenities, it ensures a fulfilling experience.
Which One to Choose?
1. Go for NMAMIT if:
You prioritize placements and a consistently high package.
You value a more established reputation and academic rigor.
A peaceful, focused environment is important to you.
2. Go for Sahyadri if:
You are inclined toward entrepreneurship and innovation.
You want to benefit from an urban location for better industry exposure.
You are looking for a relatively affordable option with good facilities.
Both colleges are good choices, but NMAMIT has a slight edge in terms of placements and academic reputation, especially for CSE. However, your final decision should consider your career goals, financial situation, and preferred learning environment.
