Oxford School of Polytechnic, Khordha was set in 2012 as an affiliated college situated in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Offering students diploma courses in a number of fields of engineering, this college is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Located in a campus area of 5.22 acres the polytechnic has strength of 1201 students and faculty of 54. The institute currently offers five diploma courses in various fields enabling the learners to gain a tangible start towards gaining an engineering degree. Established on the base of technical education, Oxford School of Polytechnic is designed to provide students with top knowledge and skills for effective work in the sphere of engineering.

It has provided its students with several facilities that supplement the learning process in the institute. It is noteworthy that the Campus has provided separate hostels to boys and girls with necessary facilities such as TV, news dailies, magazines, purified water etc. A health center with medical officers, pharmacy and clinical laboratory emergency services are available 24 hr.

The library contains more than 27 thousand printed books and journals, individual collections, and digital resources, including modern computer equipment and the Internet. As for the physical development, the school has a playground measuring nearly 8,000 M2 for the students to move and play around. The college also provides latest laboratory and workshops for practical training. Catering facilities also include a cafeteria, transport facilities, an auditorium, a gym, and training and placement cell for the students.

In the filed of engineering, Oxford School of Polytechnic currently provides five full time diploma courses. These programs are Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication engineering, Civil engineering and Automobile engineering. All the courses offered takes three years to complete thus offering a wide range technical education. The total approved intakes for all courses are 420 and Mechanical as well as electrical engineering intakes the largest number of 120. This offers the students an opportunity to select a special area of focus to suit their preference and intended job market.
