Every college has there placement cell differently this college also has their placement cell as there is different placement cell for different departments in my department the placement of student is average as i also got selected but there offering me salary package is low so i didn't accept that offer letter. They (faculties) all are supportive to help the students to get them placed at well settle job.
Placement is good for mech, chemical, electrical department as surat has all this department companies. Companies like essar stell, l&t, and reliance visit here for recruitment. Highest package till now was of 32k per month. About average package i dont have very much idea but its between 15k to 18k. As it is not a well known college, placement are very good according to the level of my college.
