Degree-wise Admission Process

BA (Bachelor of Arts)- The BA programs conducted in Parimal Mitra Smriti Mahavidyalaya offer many combinations of subjects. The college has an overall intake of 1,950 seats for BA courses of study. Admission into Title programs is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

BA Honours- The college has separate honours programs in Bengali (115 seats), History (115 seats), English (85 seats), Political Science (55 seats), Nepali (55 seats), Hindi (50 seats), and Philosophy (46 seats). Admission in these programs is competitive and based on the marks obtained at the qualifying examination in relevant subjects.

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)- The college offers a 110-seat program for B.Com graduates such that admission is determined through merit on a compilation of marks in the qualifying examination focusing on commerce-related subjects.

B.Com Honours- For 40 seats of B.Com Accountancy Honours, admission is by merit based on qualifying examination marks in commerce and accountancy subjects. 

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): The college has programmes under B.Sc but does not mention any seat allotment. Admission under B.Sc programs is done according to the merit list established on the basis of marks obtained by the applicant in the qualifying examination on science subjects.
