Good, One of the strengths of PES college is its state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern facilities. The campus is equipped with well equipped classrooms, but at the current time of writing there are lot of construction wastes due to the upcoming medical building in the perimeter.
The faculty at PES college consists of experienced professionals and experts in their respective fields. They are dedicated to imparting knowledge and friendly and good at mentoring students and fostering a passion for learning.
The placements at the college is very good, it has increased in quality in the placements department since the merge with the other RR campus. Companies range from tier 1 to tier 3. Tier 1 companies consists of companies which provide packages which are more than 12 LPA.
Admission from CET would cost 1lakh and Admission through PESSAT would now cost atleast 4 lakh for each semester. Student Scholarship is also setup to encourage students to perform better academically to get a discount of 25% in the college fees
The college is very well maintained. It has all the facilities required for the students. It has a boys hostel situated inside the campus itself. There is place for many sport games. The classrooms are very neat.
The subjects and syllabus are kept updated. The teachers are supportive and you can reach the professors at any time. They are very friendly. Yes, the curriculum makes you job ready and can sit for placements.
The quality of placements is great. Almost all the students who sit for placements get placed into very good companies. The companies which visit us are also happy and satisfied to have students from this college.
The creation of supporting infrastructure is a major element of our core strategy. Infrastructure at PES is carefully developed in response to student and faculty needs and ensures that there are no boundaries between the discovery, transfer and application of knowledge
Undoubtedly the best! You need not worry, or give it a second thought because of its course curriculum as well as placements! The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it meets all the trending topics out there in the IT sector
The electronic city campus now comes under PESU(from past 3-4 years) so the placements of the students of both the campuses get equal placement opportunities. The only tiny drawback in electronic city campus is that the students have to travel to RR campus during the time of placements.
Good. Don't think about money. Even if you spend a lakh per annum more in PESU than some other college you can easily recover that amount by getting a good placement. Money can be easily recovered but opportunities don't come so easy.
From students perspective its a disciplined college and you can have fun with gym or cricket ground, etc,... Also every now and then there are some good lectures or functions or manufacturers seminars held in their awesome auditorium
The college is very spacious and spread across a huge land. It has many courts for playing different sports. It has smart boards installed in all the classrooms. The canteens are neat and clean. Classrooms are well maintained.
I am currently doing my fourth year in computer science and engineering. The curriculum is very well updated to a good extent. It makes you ready for competitives easily. The syllabus and mini projects makes you job ready.
The college is very well known for its placements. Around 90 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package went to computer science last year. The highest package was of 1.5cpa.
Infrastructure wise my college isnt that great compared to the fee they demand especially in PESSAT exams and could be much better and developed in terms of the sports facilities and library facilities
Academics wise pes university is good in its curriculum and subjects and is far ahead than other colleges in bengaluru and I would seriously appreciate its curriculum changes that happenes constantly every year
As far as placements are considered PES has always had good reputation and promises a good percentage of students who would most likely get placed. As a third year student i am yet to sit for placements but the above information is as per the information provided by my seniors
better
poor
overall it is a good college for CS and placements
The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Classrooms are nice and tidy with good smart TVs for teaching purposes. Laboratories are well maintained by the staff. Libraries are nice and best places for studying and doing your assignments. Overall good infrastructure.
I am studying computer science because my interests were towards programming and data science. Teaching is really good and teachers are really helpful in clearing your doubts regarding the topics or assignments in a particular subject. The curriculum is well updated with the latest technologies and developments in the field. Hence the syllabus makes you job ready when it comes to placements.
College has excellent placements. 90% of students were placed in different companies. Highest salary package is 1.5 crore per annum and average salary package is 6.5 lakhs per annum. The placement process was smooth and easy and very supportive.
No problem about the college infrastructure, the infrastructure is good and all the necessary equipments for lab are provided by the college. Every classroom has wifi facilities and TV for the lecturers to teach.
I currently finished my 3rd Year BTech in Computer Science. The teaching here is excellent and all the teachers will help us clarify our doubts. The curriculum is very much updated when compared to other colleges, the topics are updated every year.
In placement perspective, PES has a good reputation. Last year around 260 companies came to the campus to hire the students. Every year the number is increasing. The average CTC here is approximately 12LPA.
It's costs around 1.2 lakhs per year if you come through KCET
Overall, the college infrastructure is satisfactory, although there is room for improvement when compared to the main campus. The laboratories are available, but it is worth less that students often need to bring their own laptops due to the frequency of exams per semester at this college. Additionaly it would be helpful if there was wifi available on everyfloor, as it can be inconvenient when we have labs in class. It would be beneficial if the college could consider providing more resources.
In terms of academics, while it may not be the best, there are soe excellent professors ar the college. One importatnt aspect to mention is the frequency of exams ,with 6 exams per semester and lab work between each exam.Completing these tasks within lab hours can be challenging due to the limited availability of wifi, which can consue a significant portion of our week.In my experience, the ISA consists of mcq and significantly affects final exam grades. The college places more emphasis on theory.
Currently, we have limited info about the companies that visit the college for placements. It would be helpful if the college administration shared more statistics and details during orientation regarding placement opportunities, The number of students getting placed is not readily available, and we often have to rely on seniors for info.It would be beneficial if the college could provide more transparency and keep us informed about the frequent recruiters in advance.
The college fees are relatively high considering the available resource provided.
The distamce of the girls gostel from the college , taking traffic into account , can be time-consuming and inconvenient. It becomes challenging to utilize the limited college resources effectilvely. Moreover , The college fests, Spanning a week, have classes scheduled on most days, making them less engaging and enjoyable overall.
The college has a positive overall environment, with ongoing improvements taking place. It is anticipated that a bus stop will be established in front of the college, as the current one is inconveniently located at a considerable distance. This change would greatly enhance accessibility for students and contribute to a more convinient commuting experience.
Pes university is very good college with all facilities. teaching staff is very supportive and they help us a lot. in classrooms we have good atmosphere to learn. we have small gym room also in our college.
i just completed my 3rd year now from CSE branch. quality of teaching is very nice. we get updated syllabus and includes all the recent developments. But not all subjects what we learn in college prepare us for job
nice placements. lot of companies visit our campus. more than 200+ companies visited last year. this year more more than 250+ companies may visit our EC campus. most of them will get placed in our campus
last year i paid 113k ruees. generally we have to 113k for kcet for 2 semesters. this college is worth spending that amount of money as it provides good education with high quality education across country.
our campus has very huge space. nice badminton court where we can many see cultural activities taking place. this campus is surrounded by many companies. it is in electronic city and this location is safe for students
no
The buildings in our campus are called CSE block MECH block Pixel Block Nursing Block Boys hostel one Mess building MRD block it has auditorium and different sports court in it. One Cricket Ground, football ground and a basketball court. Boys hostel is in campus itself but girls hostel is 7km away from college in the area called kaswanhalli off sarjapur road. GYm is also available for the hostellers for free.
Our college gives great internship opportunities. Companies like Microsoft Jp Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more tier one companies for internship. Students start getting internship for the summer break also. Internship opportunities for the last are plenty. And our college makes the students well prepared for the internship. The internship amount of the tier one companies is between 50k to 1.25L.
Placement opportunities are same for both EC and computer science branch. Since most of do Ec do minors in CS. More than 50 percent of students are placed in the tier one companies. Average package is about 8L for computer science and I have no idea about the Ec branch. Many startup companies also come to heir at high rates for good talents. And most of the tier one companies come to our campus for recruitments. The placements seasonally starts from September.
I pay 1,10,000 as my fees I got admission through K-CET
Not great campus life
Nice exprerience

The cutoff for electronic and communication engineering, commonly seen during admissions to educational institutions, refers to the minimum score or rank required for acceptance into the program. Cutoffs can vary each year and depend on factors such as the number of available seats, the performance of applicants, and the overall competition. Generally, a higher cutoff indicates a more competitive admission process. It's crucial for aspirants to check the specific cutoff criteria of the institution or exam they are applying to, as these values can differ between colleges and exams. Additionally, cutoffs are subject to change annually, so staying updated with the latest information from the respective educational authorities is essential for those seeking admission to electronic and communication engineering programs.
